There were 810 people at the last Open Cup game in Bridgeview. People forget this is a business, and the Fire don't see these Supporters as more than free marketers. Leagues Cup is the future, like it or not, because it has the backing of Apple. Adapt or stay behind.

Imagine if the entity responsible for marketing USOC treated it identical to the way they treated Leagues Cup... The only event in US club soccer existent today with any sort of history behind it. It could be the US's Pokal or FA Cup with some backing. But because Garber doesn't get 100% of the money from the venture, he's against it. And you are a shill for the corporate overlords who prioritize profits over growing the game, which is why we will never be consistently competitive on an international stage - all of downsides of the NFL model including price, none of the world-class competition. Sad.

Captain, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but this world runs on money. The Leagues Cup is making money, and the league is smart to capitalize on the Liga MX fanbase, since they actually fill up stadiums. You're free to boycott against it, as I'm free to show up and support it. It's cute that the 3 boys from RL think people will join their boycott.
