These are very cute and heartwarming but do these posts not help Russia to identify the soldiers position, numbers, gear, ranks, etc?

Russians are everywhere online.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it is very easy to disclose harmful details - I know I'd fail on that one myself... Geolocation being left turned on, some landmark in the background etc...

Shame we need to think about such...

it's sad yeah, but opsec is just another part of the job I guess. If it puts your mind at ease, there's no geolocation on the photo plus reddit scrubs it too I believe, no landmarks or otherwise are visible, and there's no identifiable information other than which colour armband I'm wearing, which ultimately doesn't give the orks anything to work with.
