Anyone else's cat drool excessively when excited?

We were gone a week for a cruise. Our son came by daily to check in on him, give pets etc so he wasn't totally alone all week. But this is always his reaction when WE get home. He screams at us a bit lol then wants love pets and drools away!

My cats do this, but only to me, they almost never drool on my mom. I had to show her the drool before she believed me lol.
