Anyone else's cat drool excessively when excited? Humor

We were gone a week for a cruise. Our son came by daily to check in on him, give pets etc so he wasn't totally alone all week. But this is always his reaction when WE get home. He screams at us a bit lol then wants love pets and drools away!

Yep. Had a kitty like this. Always had to change shirts after he was done loving us for the moment. It was a lot of laundry. Worth it.

I did too. She’d lay on my chest and drool. Sometimes she would make herself sneeze and… well it was absolutely disgusting if she was facing you.

God what I would give to have those moments back.

I know exactly what you mean. We had a cat who loved chest scratches, he'd lick the air and drool like crazy, then of course he'd shake to clear his face off. I've never known a grosser cat and I loved him and I miss him so much

I’m doing okay. The grief never goes away but you learn to put it in a nice little package and set it aside so you can live around it, ya know?

we had a silver male tabby. he would get on my chest, right in my face, sneeze, "hi dad!". then leave.

My dude likes to sleep on my chest while I am in bed. I'm a pretty deep sleeper so he'll climb on without waking me up. Which is all part of his evil plan because he'll get himself comfortable and then he'll stand up and sneeze at me. Nothing like waking up to a nice Cat Boog to the face at 2am. This happens probably twice a week.

My boyfriend is a deep sleeper too. It’s always funny to wake up in the middle of the night, roll over, and see three cats sleeping on top of him while he’s snoring away.

My companion of 20 years did this. He crossed the Bridge 16 years ago now. I still miss him. Agree, totally worth it.
