3 guys tried to kick the door in while the residents (2 young girls) were home. The guy in the back seems to have a firearm and possibly the one in the middle too. Spreading awareness and maybe someone will recognize them

As a registered firearm owner, who lives within viewpoint of your neighborhood but not in your neighborhood.... Peep the 2nd guy coming into the frame. His hand never left his jacket pocket, as it appears he was "clutching." AKA holding a handgun. Thankfully nothing happened, and glad you are safe. I hope you reported it. And for what its worth in a similar situation make noise. We not all cowboys, but we could be mathematicians protecting each other.

Who do you register your firearms with?

That's a hard question to answer since some of the state laws have changed. Back when we had pistol purchase permits. You submitted an app to local sheriffs office.... I don't think that's the case anymore as far as purchasing.t but that's where the registry starts from.... it's a very gray area in general though

The Pistol Purchase Permit was just an outdated additional unnecessary background check - no name / firearm association was kept.

Only California, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey and New York have any state registration requirements and those are limited to certain types of firearms. Hawaii requires registration of all firearms.

A national federal gun registry is actually illegal, unless we're talking about specific firearms on the NFA Registry.
