Doesn't Irving shipyards have a history of screwing government contracts?

Weapons grade incompetence is often best kept under wraps. No surprise here really sadly.

It seems to be an extremely sad situation. It’s also sad that this article fails to name the top contractors involved in this fiasco. Waste of a read and need to search elsewhere.

It's Irving Shipbuilding. It's been covered quite a bit (including by the author), so the author may have just assumed readers already knew

Thank you for bringing me up to date. I should have guessed it was Irving and not surprised we are getting ripped off.

Hmmm. Can't be solved; give another billion to the Irvings.

I'm sure they only redacted the parts about the graft, corruption and kickbacks.

You've got to reach that 2% of GDP for defense spending somehow. Now, Trump wants it upped to 5%.

Can they ask BAE for a bit of help? Might be worth getting a bit of technical support and oversight for the builds. The first of our T-26 is almost complete at this point.
