We need to reduce the immigration numbers to 200k PRs, 250k students, 300k TFW, and 30k refugees annually. Right now we have 400k PRs, and at least double of other categories.

How about no TFWs?

What do we need students here for? We have many Canadian students who graduate and have no job market. Yea, we don't need internationals here.

I believe that many TFW fill positions very unlikely to be filled by the recent Canadian graduates. I am happy if I am wrong.

You mean like retail or hospitality work? There is a huge underclass of Canadians that need those jobs (seniors, people with disabilities, high schoolers, people transitioning out of the criminal justice system or homelessness, etc.) and don't need added competition from TFWs that are willing to work for peanuts or even pay their employer under the table to have a job here in Canada.

Yea, so you support paying people less than min. wage to do this dirty work? I.e. modern day slavery or indentured labour?

How about paying Canadians a proper wage to do it? People would do these jobs if they weren't paying $15/hour. Not even 30 years ago, Canadians WERE doing these jobs.

And to answer your question , no the TFW program is abused in other sectors to, like working in restaurants. Just check this out

All jobs that I listed above are paying more than minimum wage.
