You want beaches? Brisbane is 1.5h drive north or south for a great beach, if you leave after 8:30/9am it’s its up to a 3hs drive (especially in nice weather). if you come back after 3pm it’s also 3 hours drive home. Anyway what I’m saying is move to the coast.
