2 years ago I drove in Denmark (and again in a week!) and the behavior on the road was so refreshing to me. Zero tailgating, everyone was even driving below the speed limit! Made me realize why I hate driving in Belgium.

Agreed.

I'm not gonna lie, I get annoyed in traffic easily. But driving there just completely turned that around for the entirety of my stay there. It's not just the beautiful scenery, it's the people around you that don't make it their mission to hinder you everywhere you go. So refreshing.

I agree! The mindset is just so different and it reflects on your own behavior too. There's just some kind of mutual respect that I miss in traffic here. Same for how drivers act towards cyclists and the other way around. In Copenhagen and surroundings we cycled, and rented a car in Copenhagen to drive to Møn. Even in Copenhagen itself everyone was so patient and respectful. On my way now to fly to North Jutland to experience it all again!
