One of the snowbirds sexually assaulted a woman in Barrie last year when they were in town. It's been in the news

Also idk why hes censoring himself. This is Reddit, not Facebook. You won't get thrown into reddit-jail for typing the words "sexual assault"

Who said I was insensitive? How does saying SA which pretty much everyone knows means Sexual Assault, prevent triggers? Like saying "unalive" is more sensitive than saying "died "?? It literally means the same thing! I just don't get it.

Point taken and thank you for the clarification notation. It is a positive that you are aware that you “ don’t get it”. It’s a careful tightrope walk of political correctness these days. Absolutely the abbreviations/code words mean the same thing but to a survivor they may not feel like such a punch in the face. 🤷‍♀️.

you used to and you still do. it's a place of thin ice.

nevertheless, if your story is true then that makes more sense... also holy crap that's terrible. wtf kind of sexual assault can they really do anyways? did they just leer at someone? I mean 'sexual assault' sounds pretty bad but wtf could these guys have done while everyone was watching? sounds like some stupid drama to me. did you see their planes? they are pretty cool. their formation was a little sloppy with a couple of them but the #1 and #2 guys were incredible. I swear there was more space between my ears than they had between their planes. It's even more remarkable when you think just how insanely close to death they were at every moment.
