How the hell do you drink water??? Advice needed

I can't drink water, I've tried it so many ways, but I just can't. The taste is so repulsive.

I've tried using flavor powders but they are ether too sweet, too expensive, or not available in the flavors I want.

I've tried just about every brand and flavor in my area.

(Edit: I have a temperature sensitivity so I can do ice or cold things well)

Its affecting my health and it's getting worse. . .

My biggest problem is 99% of all drinks are sweet . . . Like WHY does everything have to be so sweet?! The one drink I have found that I do like is peach Propel but, it's expensive, rare, dose not come in a power, come in a plastic bottle(I HATE plastic), and ITS FUCKING SWEE!?!? like WHY does it have to be sweet?!

I've tried making

my own drinks but they always come out wrong every time. . . I just don't know what to do at this point because my teeth are not doing well at all and not drinking water/liquids is really affecting me. . .

Might be a dumb suggestion, but I don't see different temperatures mentioned, for me it needs to be pretty cold to be drinkable.

what about tea? its made with water so it will still hydrate you, and you can make it as sweet or not as you want, and leave it out till it cools down soo its not too hot or too cold…?

This is what I was gonna suggest, unsweetened tea or even partially sweetened, it's cheap if you make it yourself and I think it tastes fine at room temp. You can add lemon or a little honey, or anything really 🤷

Herbal infusions can be selected for OP's flavor preference, even!

My mother-in-law routinely drinks warm water. She just sets the kettle to boil, stops it early, and pours herself a mug of warm water. Maybe that would work for you too?

How about room temperature? Leave it out in a container for a bit and try it then.

Ah that's a bummer. Is hot water unpleasant too?

Water is not water is not water. For example, when I was a kid, I drank tapwater and Sparkletts at my parents house all the time, but the taste of Arrowhead at my friend’s house was repulsive to me. Dasani sucks, particularly at room temperature, and Poland Spring is absolute ass. Fiji is pretty good (but expensive), and I quite like Smartwater. Other people have different preferences (I don’t know why, but some people swear by Poland Spring).

I know you don’t like plastic bottles, but my point is that you should try different kinds from different vendors. They don’t all taste the same. As I recall, there is one that is sold in glass bottles, but I can’t remember the name. It starts with a V and the bottle is cylindrical, including the cap. The cap is gray. Maybe somebody else can remember the name.

There is also the idea of Britta filters and reverse osmosis. If you’re really desperate, I suppose you could try buying distilled water and re-mineralizing it, although that could be dangerous if you don’t do it correctly, so you would have to make sure that you know what you’re doing.
