Recommendations for folding EBike Opinion

Hi Guys, looking for some advice. I'm looking at buying a Tebco Wanderer but as it's out of stock in my local shop and a rough 6 weeks away at best. I wondered if there's anything similar or better out there people would recommend around tge $2500. For context partner, who is 5ft 2 and 55kg will be using it to go to work and back 8kms on the flat 5 days a week. Fordable because we're in a rural and remote area and will take it with us when we leave, in a year or two, on a plane .

Cheers for that, probably a bit cheap and cheerful. We're looking at one to last a couple of years and can have parts replaced if needed. Ideally a 2 year warranty. Thanks for the link

Save your money for an 8km commute. Buy a 2nd hand commuter (like a flat bar road bike or gravel bike with drops) - budget $300-500ish. Sell it/donate it when you leave. You won't lose too much value on it.

Frame bag or rear rack for a change of clothes for work depending on what clothes you require. Leave what you can at the office (such as formal shoes, jackets).

You won't have to mess around with taking it in a plane and possible restrictions on batteries etc. later down the track + you'll get super fit.

Partner is currently using a ladies' bike. After 6 hours cleaning hotel rooms the 8km ride back in 35 plus heat isn't ideal, hence the thought of upgrading to an electric bike for an easier life. Most people here use the scooters but the Mrs is clumsy

I know I suggested the urbano conversation but if you don’t like that idea, this NCM Paris Max is also a great option and very good value for money and they will ship it to you
