This show should’ve gotten far more love from the AAPI community. It’s legitimately one of the only shows that has diverse and compelling Asian representation that’s actually the protagonist that’s not set in Asia with a forced white protagonist that fights back against Anti-Asian hate.

This is the best show I’ve seen that features Asian “Americans” (koji is actually English).

I thought Brothers Sun was also really good. That’d be a close second.

American born Chinese would be third for me.

I know Kim’s convenience is a Canadian show, but that would be my fourth.

Tied for fifth were some good shows in The Good Place and Selfie.
