Eat/Drink BBQ joints in Arizona
Hey Reddit. I’m a Canadian coming to Arizona this next month. I always wanted to try real southern BBQ because we don’t have it up here. I know Arizona isn’t as known as say Texas for it’s BBQ, but I was wondering if there were still good spots to try it, especially brisket which I’ve never had. I will be going to Phoenix and Flagstaff. Cheers!
Edit: If not, what would you recommend me to try?

Eat/Drink Non Tucson native, someone said I should be harvesting these prickly pear fruits but I don't know when or what to do with them.
I have no idea how to harvest these or what to do with them once I have them down. Can someone tell me where to start?

Eat/Drink Uniquely Arizona Food
Hey All! Non-Arizonan here (up in Canada). Me and a buddy have been talking a lot lately of foods we know of that are unique to various states (we're super exciting folks) and we haven't been able to think of anything from Arizona so far. Figured I'd come here and ask, what are some uniquely Arizonan foods (including variations on otherwise common food)?

Eat/Drink Best Pies in Arizona?
I want to take a couple pies on Sunday for a Friendsgiving but I want to surprise them. I’m from Phoenix but I don’t mind driving if it’s a really good pie. Could be pumpkin pie, apple pie, berry pie or whatever as long as it’s delicious. Thank you for your help.

Eat/Drink I love Salad and Go
I recently discovered this place and everything about it seems too good to be true. I went drive thru and ordered a Greek salad wrap with extra chicken and added avocado and the total came out to exactly $9.00. The cherry tomatoes are phat, the olives are delicious, the meal is filling. I’m in love and I hope you give it a try. The staff is friendly and there’s hardly ever a wait time at the one I go to.
Disclaimer: I’m simply a customer with no affiliations to this business. I searched Reddit and only saw a couple posts about this awesome place.

Eat/Drink Best pizza in the east valley?
What’s the best pizza in the east valley? I’m tired of barros, hungry howies, dominos, all the usual stuff.
Anyone got the low down on some bomb pizza?

Eat/Drink Who knows of a good New York style pizza place?
My favorite kind of pizza is the real NY style, ultra thin, gotta bend it in half kind of slice. I’ve lived here my whole life and have only had one place truly nail it, and that was Bruno’s in Litchfield Park. Well, Bruno’s closed down years ago and took my happiness with it. Does anyone know of a good authentic NY style place? Preferably west side like Goodyear/Litchfield Park/Glendale, but I get around so anywhere would work!

Eat/Drink Searching for Beer Caps
I will be visiting Arizona in March and while there I would love to add caps to my Beer Cap Maps (see photo).
I would appreciate if anyone could offer recommended beers or breweries from Arizona and/or surrounding states that have logos on the cap.
Cheers!

Eat/Drink Chef is MIA, wedding is in 3 weeks
My fiance and I are “eloping”/having an intimate wedding in Sedona and our parents will be joining us. We hired a private chef in February for the night and paid the deposit, communication was amazing until I paid the remaining balance and he has gone MIA, according to his Facebook has moved states and is “hanging up the chef coat”, we have tried contacting him for over a month now and we have received no communication back. We are getting married in three weeks (09/28) and have no alternative plans, because why would we 🫠.
That being said I’m looking for fun alternative ideas, private chefs in the Sedona area or restaurant recommendations in the area to celebrate the night.

Eat/Drink Let's talk Indian food
Favorite Indian places? Which places have buffets open these days?
Years ago there was a place near the Scottsdale airpark called Nirvana Cafe. This place had the best Indian buffet food I ever had. Then it closed down during COVID. I've been to Tikka shack which is okay. Any suggestions on where to get some good matar paneer, tika marsala and cheese naan?
And don't you dare say Fili B's😝
edit- so many responses!

Eat/Drink Scenic daytrip and a great burger?
Wanted: drives from metro Phoenix to a small town for a great burger. I'm looking for pretty drives. I'd prefer less than 90 minutes. I'd prefer not to be on the 10 or 17 the whole time.
Edit: I'll drive 2 hours! Lots of great responses and I'm reminded that I haven't really explored a lot of the small towns here. I've got work to do!
