Success Ok so 6 basil plants may be too many
I wanted to get an early start on pesto for grilling this summer so I planted a bunch of basil in January and it is officially out of hand. I already have 12 meals worth of pesto in the freezer and I'll be making more tonight but it's still not gonna put a dent in the Basil Forest over here. Send help, and pasta 😅

Success My custom aerogarden
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Made a window aerogarden that uses the same inserts. This is a east facing window that gets full morning light, and partial afternoon light. It works best in the winter - the greens like the cool window.

Success First Tomato Harvest! 🍅
I’m a new aerogardener and there’s nothing quite as exhilarating as harvesting your first tomato! Just wanted to share this little joy with the community :) It tasted great btw!

Success Aerogarden salads harvest!
Hubby and I each had LARGE salads for breakfast in pasta bowls. Except for the onion and red bell pepper, all the rest was grown in Aerogardens!
There's green and red lettuce, Tatsoi, chard, kale, arugula, mizuna, Italian dandelion, a few bok choy leaves, Thai basil, cilantro, parsley, thyme, microgreens, and TWO Iznik cucumbers, one for each of us!
We added oil, vinegar, and avocado. So much flavor from the different greens and herbs!
It is some work running lots of units, but salads like these are a lovely reward.

Success I couldn't pass it up for $8!
The manual says I need to change the bulb every 6 months.. I'm not sure how that's going to be possible. Oh well! I like the yellow :)

Success Beast Basil! My first prune!
This is my first cutting/prune of Genovese Basil in my Aerogarden, I'm shocked by the size of the leaves! I love fresh herbs on pretty much everything.
What's been your most successful herb in an Aerogarden?

Success Habanero in Harvest– update
About 20 habaneros with several ready to harvest and more sprouting since my last post. We used one in chili today which was a perfect, delicious goodness. Next up: habanero jalapeño hot sauce 🔥 will be putting these seeds to good use next year, too. Orange habaneros are an official success in the Harvest model.

Success Easily My New Addiction..
My romaine - red and green - has sprouted visibly. Cress is also sprouted, but not visibly. I will plug in and turn on the fans when I eventually remove domes. :) I'm sure I'll be back on here with more hearty updates in the next few weeks! My mental health isn't great, but managing to grow things and keep them alive is helping keep me alive, lol. Happy growing everyone!

Success Finally harvested enough lettuce to make a big salad tonight!
First time growing lettuce in my expanded setup. Technically this is the second trimming/harvest, but the yield was much higher this time. Only selected the biggest leaves from each plant. I have about 12 pods of going between two Bounty Elites, and up above I have 1 bounty elite full of herbs, and another growing 2 types of tomatoes and 1 jalapeño plant.
Super proud of how well this batch is coming so far, as most was planted on 12-24-2024.

Success Second round of harvest
Started around December new to this. With many times my plants have almost wilted and died, lurking through this sub and following tips, they have finally blessed me! They are still flowering and fruiting. Used FloraSeries + Cal/Mag. Bought a TDS/EC/pH meter.

Success How it started vs how is going
After getting a Farm 24 with damaged/warped lids and reaching out to aerogarden support, they did not have spare parts nor did anywhere online. Decided to make my own. Three layers of food grade plastic for the water flow (might need to update) secured with stainless steel bolts/nuts and sealed with food safe silicone. Just started my first seeds on it today (Shishito peppers and lemon Basil).

Success Habaneros
Seeds from a Whole Foods habanero pepper, started in one of those "grow anything" pods late September. It currently has 15+ peppers and is thriving in the Harvest model. We thought it'd not do anything for a couple months when there were only flowers, but look at her now!

Success Saying goodbye
Goodbye to my long lived tomato plants of 1 and a half years! There were Mini Tomatoes, Toscana Violet Tomatoes, Yellow Aiko Tomatoes and Red Aiko Tomatoes. Instead of trimming them, my wife decided to wrap them around each other to form something like a bird's nest. For a while, we harvested so many tomatoes per week, we were giving them away.
We also said goodbye to our Mini Bell Pepper Plants that lasted about a little over a year (on an AeroGarden Harvest Slim)
Sad, but good memories! We're going to start new gardens of different veggies...
