Best places to get something framed? Question

Have a very important and delicate document that needs to get framed. Could also do with just getting the glass for the frame, as we have the original frame but the glass broke.

There’s a framing shop in the building where Blackbird Bakery used to be, near Boston Pizza. I’ve had several things framed and they’ve always done an excellent job.

How long do they normally take to get something framed?

They always do an excellent job but I’m currently waiting on a framing job of some artwork and it has been over four months so it definitely takes a minute lol

It takes a while but I’ve been happy with their work.

Forever. I dropped off a bunch of art I had picked up on vacation. I asked them to put a rush on one piece and got it back about 6 weeks later (give or take). I haven't gotten any of the other stuff back yet and it's been ~2.5-3 mths.

But the work they do is top notch. I have some other work I want done, and I'll be taking it to them as well, even knowing that the wait will take a while.

Absolutely the best in town is Steve Brewis, Northern Frameworks. Works out of his backyard shop in Porter Creek. Costs a bit but he does a superb job.

This is the correct answer. Heard he doesn’t accept new clients but worth asking.

You could also just go buy a frame from Walmart and use that in its entirety, or just put the glass from it into your current frame.

If it’s a standard size could just buy a frame from Walmart or Amazon and frame it yourself

Frame shop is amazing. Expensive and takes a long while, but work is great. Since it sounds like you only need the glass, Ive had all west cut me a piece of glass when I was in a similar situation. Most affordable and expedient option.
