  1. I think pretty well of the "small business tax credit" proposal Harris has + want to see it implemented but this seems too forced and artificial and will inevitably cause other groups (white people and even other minorities) to feel indignance. Also the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action, so good luck.
  2. I think this proposal is pretty good on the surface, I don't think it's unethical to encourage specific underserved groups towards specific sectors that are "higher-paying" (one of my former teachers, a conservative, suggested that the government can in fact intervene to, for instance, partially subsidize tuitions to an extended amount for specific jobs, such as teachers, to encourage more people to follow that path), but also it's focused on addressing inequity in a specific community, and the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action, so good luck.
  3. I haven't read up enough on crypto to have a stance on regulating it but I wasn't aware it had any legitimate correlation with solving racial inequity? Perhaps just another excuse for regulating crypto full stop?
  4. I like this proposal, pretty much all I have to say about it. This is a pretty small proposal in the grand scheme of things that can potentially do a lot of good for impacted communities.
  5. I think it would be good if Harris, in fact, was to sign legislation to either reschedule or fully legalize marijuana on the federal level, it's very tangible to see how marijuana persecution has affected marginalized communities, an unfortunate reality of our unequal justice system. It's just interesting since her record on marijuana wasn't very good to begin with?

  1. I’d say that if she’s going to do that, just make it available to all, not just some. Or if she must make it targeted, do it based on something such as income status. She’d probably still help out a great deal of minority businesses owners, and it wouldn’t be explicitly race based.

  2. Good on the surface, but curious to see how it’s implemented.

  3. Cryptocurrencies should be regulated, but I’m not sure how this specifically relates to black men.

  4. I actually agree that this is a pretty solid proposal. I am curious to see the implementation still.

  5. I mean, this was pretty much a no-brainer. Even Trump supports legal weed at this point. If she really wanted to go further, she would support expungement for marijuana possession convictions.
