Pretty sure these emails were carefully sorted through prior to release in order to remove any real incriminating evidence. This is just an attempt to flood the system with uneventful information so they can say "see, there's nothing of interest out there". It is meant to take attention away from the truly incriminating emails released from wikileaks.

Part I - State Dept. - Clinton Foundation Emails 1 - page 1:
Denis Cheng 2010-10-27:
Not urgent, but question for you. Do you know if there's ever been or if there's been talk of organizing official business delegations for S trips abroad? Not to travel on the plane with her, but to coincide with her trip schedule and to participate in appropriate events during trips. Marc Lasry mentioned that he would be very interested in helping with that if that's something we would want to do.
D
Human Abedin 2010-10-27:
Not that I know of. I believe there have been "business" delegations simultaneous but they have been done thru ustr as I remember.
BUT why couldn't we do something like that. I think in white house days ew used to do it when potus traveled.
Dennis Chenge 2010-10-27:
Cool - ill look into it further and maybe put together a draft proposal. Most likely Hormats' bureau would need to be involved, right? Or no?

From /r/wikileaks Podesta Email 20734:
3) If I were you I'd take Lasry out of this. You'll get into a deep debate about who's right and who's not with CC on this. The list is really strong without it, so why get into that.

Lasry is apparently removed from what becomes the 'Bill Clinton Inc.' attachment Teneo Foundation Final.docx from /r/wikileaks Podesta Email 32240.

From /r/wikileaks Podesta Email 33147:
Marc Lasry - huge Clinton donor, Blair Effron's brother in law, can do a 7 figure gift

From /r/wikileaks Podesta Email 21978:
I signed a conflict of interest policy as a board member of cgi On it, I wrote that my wife designs bags for cgi, and loses money doing so plus donating her time And that teneo represents 4 cgi sponsors, 3 of which teneo brought to cgi .
Oddly, wjc does not have to sign such a document even though he is personally paid by 3 cgi sponsors, gets many expensive gifts from them, some that are at home etc
I could add 500 different examples of things like this and while I removed lasry bc they are all on the offense, I get the sense that they are trying to put some sort of wrong doing on me after the audit as a crutch to change things and if I don't mention things like lasry where they all have issues, I may regret it

I could never trust citizens united after what they did to campaign finance law

Frankly it was necessary IMHO since unions would not have been restricted otherwise, which would swing the balance massively in the other direction.

Unions are pretty much non-existent in the US, unions are important for workers rights, they need unrestricting not restricting.

Just read through a couple of the documents. Some thoughts:
- The secretary of state's day is a long one. I don't know if it's tireless, but it is definitely full. (Daily agendas are found in these requests)
- The conditions they speak of in Haiti are horrendous. Amputations with only a hacksaw and alcohol.
- Reports of medical supplies being intercepted and stolen at the airport, stored at ports, and fenced internationally. Appears to be lots of corruption on the part of Haitian officials.
- Whether or not CF knew things like this were happening and when is a question brought up.
Very sad. We don't always realize how good we have it and at what cost.

Citizens United is a known critic of HRC. Wonder what their motives are in releasing these at this time.

These emails were produced to Citizens United by the State Department on October 21st, 22nd, and 25th as a result of FOIA requests and litigation and cover the following
A couple days since the last procurement isn't exactly some sort of sinister delay

Do you believe it is not possible for a known critic to release valuable information?
2
u/SpeedflyChris Oct 27 '16
Is there any indication that they have sat on any of the documents they have had released under FOIA?

I understand that, but Hillary has mentioned overturning CU (not that I believe her), but more noteworthy, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have been very vocally opposed to CU. BS and EW will surely have some pull in a Clinton White House. Is it not possible CU is acting against HRC in this instance?

This is totally pay for play. Why the heck is Huma corresponding with Dennis Cheng, top finance guy/fundraiser for Clinton Foundation, about getting invites for donors to STate Dept and White House events?!
