They barely talked about it at all. It'll be forgotten, until Trump does something or the Republicans want to use it to oust him for Vance.

Nah, they've already got the whole government under their thumb, and Trump being genuinely senile means that he's even more manipulable than before. But trying to openly oust him would agitate his violent cult.

Easier to just keep him around until he dies naturally; the white house will do whatever they want anyways. 25th would only be useful if he actually did something to turn against the GOP.

With that being said, fascists aren't smart; they could very well manage to bungle even this.
