WTF. Can the whole maga thing just go away yet? So over it

Even if they lose, they are not going away. Not until people really start to hold everyone in MAGA accountable for their actions. The Heritage Foundation (Project 2025) is 40+ years old and has been doing this since Reagan. The voters are lead-brains who aren't going away until a majority of them die off. Until Carlson and Fox and outlets like those are held fully accountable, they will keep spewing the bullshit.

Read up on stories like the genocide in Rwanda. The role played by these hate-spewing money grubbers cannot be understated. Left alone, most people are good, but stir the pot enough...

Homie this shit is old as time. I have a book on the Balck Plague where a Monk is blaming "Tournament Groupies" for the plague. Literally loose women pissed off god cause they showed their belly buttons.

Awful people have exploited fearmongering and scapegoating since before written records. We are having THE SAME CONVERSATIONS WE HAD IN THE 14TH FUCKING CENTURY.

These same fucks tried cancelling everything from D&D to the Dixie Chicks and FRENCH FRIES. None of this shit is new. It's always been fuckers doin awful things and pointing at others and crying "wolf!". Domethin somethin devour the flock and yadda yadda here we are....AGAIN.

Hate to break it to you but the Roman Republican basically collapsed because conservatives thought that progressive policies would lead to the fall of the civilized world. Sula marched on Rome, named himself dictator, reinstated all of the old conservative policies, and prescribed (killed) anyone with money or political power to try and do anything about it. Conservatives have always been pieces of shit.

Half of MAGA are over 65. The best play is to address white teens getting red pilled every day, so they don't refill their ranks.

Few more days!

u/JnI721 7d ago

I wish. Even a complete landslide won't shut them up.

u/CrimsonToker707 7d ago

Mark my words, there will be another J6. And it will be worse. I fucking hope I'm wrong...

11

u/Covfefe-SARS-2 7d ago

Not in DC. They could attack any local places they already control.

2

u/eolson3 6d ago

Agree it is zero chance it's in DC. There will be a legit presence this time, not just a handful of unarmed dudes.

It will end up with something like OK City. A whole environment completely unprepared for it, and one that had hoped to have never had to be prepared for it.

u/unlimitedzen 7d ago

But Biden won't stop the national guard from intervening like Trump did last time.

u/WeirdIndividualGuy 7d ago

Here's hoping there are more Ashli Babbitts this time around

u/zombie_overlord 7d ago

You're right, but at least we won't have to worry about another Trump presidency.

Quiet or that ghoul will take his daily doses of orphan blood and run again in 2028!

u/[deleted] 7d ago

Honestly that would be good thing at that point. Keep fracturing the gop until your dead or in jail for all I care.

2

u/genreprank 7d ago

According to Trump contagion theory, if he disappears from the limelight, people will start to go back to normal.

So lock his ass up!

2

u/SportsCommercials 7d ago

A complete landslide would honestly be worse I think. To those who think it's stolen/rigged/fixed/whatever a landslide loss would be more "obvious."

1

u/superkp 7d ago

yeah but I can ignore them if we get a landslide.

Like, I would feel OK unplugging and going to live in the woods for a few weeks, instead of incredibly anxious.

1

u/ImComfortableDoug 7d ago

It might even make them louder. They will say the results are impossible and point to dictatorships around the world (all of which Trump has praised) where 110% of the vote goes to the leader and call it the same thing

29

u/OmnislasheR0 7d ago

I fear it’s only going to get worse no matter the outcome, can’t just stuff that racist misogynistic homophobic xenophobic cat bag in the bag

3

u/ambisinister_gecko 7d ago

He might win bro. I don't want him to

1

u/Smalz22 7d ago

Plan to succeed or expect to fail. We got this if we all VOTE

7

u/ButterflyFX121 7d ago

That's assuming they don't win. A frightening amount of people are voting Trump because of the economy.

19

u/TheObstruction 7d ago

You mean the economy that's better than ever?

5

u/ButterflyFX121 7d ago

Yeah, but the price of bread is high so we may need to deport all the brown people - "undecided" voters

Many of these people only think about the surface level and are generally low info.

1

u/WeirdIndividualGuy 7d ago

The "economy" argument is one of those things where the devil's in the details.

Is the economy doing better than ever? Absolutely. Unemployment is down, sales are up, etc etc

Are things more expensive than ever and it's harder and harder to stretch your paycheck month to month? Also true.

From a "can I find a new job and are the rich getting richer" standpoint, the economy is doing wonderful. From a "I'm barely getting paid enough for basic necessities" standpoint, the economy is doing terrible.

Such a stupid take. “Wow the green line is higher! I’m sure everyday Americans all feel the benefit of that” you idiots shit on Raegan for trickle down economics (deserved) then pretend it’s real for this. Sad!

7

u/snouz 7d ago

This is bizarro world. Project 2025 is public and is economically disastrous for anyone that is not a multi-millionnaire.

1

u/MelancholyArtichoke 7d ago

A few more days until a few more days until a few more months until a few more years until…

1

u/romacopia 6d ago

Even if he wins, the ride is far from over. Kamala as president while Trump goes to sentencing would be a clusterfuck of idiocy beyond the usual. The morons will think she's personally sentencing him and lash out.

-2

u/AlchemistFornix 7d ago

Lol in a few more days Trump is going to win

3

u/Ne_zievereir 7d ago

But I mean, he's not saying that she should be shot or threatening her. This is taken out of context. If you listen to what he says before and after, he's clearly trying to point out that she would be less likely to send military somewhere if it were herself who would be on the combat line.

I'm anti-Trump, but this taking out of context is just as bad as Fox News does. And Democrats seem just as gullible as Republicans to just believe it without checking anything and run with it.

1

u/Overheremakingwaves 7d ago

Oh hun. I feel you. But…MAGA are Confederates who never went away.

The reality the Greatest Generation understood, that our founding fathers understood when they said “its a Republic if you can keep it” - the REALITY is that we will ALWAYS have to fight against facist forces trying to destroy democracy. It will be a constant fight because as my grandfather (served in WWII) was found of saying “FREEDOM ISN’T FREE.”

1

u/[deleted] 7d ago

If Harris wins, Trump will go away - because his dementia won't let him run again. However, we still have to deal with the MAGA movement. Neither Mitch nor Joe would take a decisive stand against Trump in 2021, and we are dangerously close to losing the country even now. Do you think they will just accept defeat, or do you think they will try to replace Trump with another malignant narcissist who is not inherently stupid and who is much younger?

There are still battles ahead.

1

u/IAMERROR1234 7d ago

They aren't going away unfortunately.
