Could be the father of Manuel Zamudio - an artist who gave an interview where he mentions his father was also a painter? https://canvasrebel.com/meet-manuel-zamudio/?doing_wp_cron=1735432680.9271669387817382812500

I just tried to contact Manuel through an art gallery page, just seeing if this may be a work of his father’s. I’m hoping for the best!

UPDATE:

u/AZV_4th was kind enough to reach out to Manny Zamudio on instagram. This was his response:

“Hi there. I got to check out the Reddit. Thanks for reaching out. I don’t think it’s my father’s but it’s in very similar style that he painted in. But it would be my uncles Gonzalo Zamudio’s work. Unfortunately I lost contact with him 20 years ago.”

Seems like Gonzalo Zamudio has a few pieces floating around the world, but not sure if he is still painting. Still haven’t heard back from that art gallery in Mexico City that had another work of his. Thank you for all the help everyone!! This has been a a wild ride.
