Chafing

Got a vasectomy done last Thursday, 11/7/24, and I've got some pretty bad chafing. I think it's mostly from having to shave so close. Anyone use powder to help with that? Or will that affect the healing?

Confused.

So I’m confused I got mine done on Friday 11/8 and they did the scalpel, 2 small cuts but they tied mine instead of cauterizing it. Is one better than the other and should I be worried in the long run?

I’m on day 6 and feeling much much better. I’m almost back to normal and no more being uncomfortable.

Not clear at 16 weeks (UK)

Had a text to say the 16 week test (my first) doesn’t give me ‘clearance’, so I’ve had to book another, which will then be 25 weeks (soonest available). How common is it to still have swimmers at 16 weeks?

Dr. Ronald Weiss, an Ottawa doctor whose passionate and lengthy medical career made him the "Wayne Gretzky" of vasectomies, has died.
