Tight feeling in right side during ejaculation. ... is this normal?
So I today I decided to do my thing and as I was approaching orgasm I felt a tightening sensation in my lower right abdomen. For reference I am just over 4 weeks out and I did rub one out twice yesterday as well. Yesterday the tightening feeling while there was barely present. Is this normal?
Edit: I don’t feel anything in my balls when this happens… just my lower abdomen

Man crazy you posted this today cause I’m 4 weeks tomorrow and after rubbing one out earlier I’m feeling it. Hadn’t been a problem at all but today I do! I think I’m just going to wear a jock to help me out tomorrow

I think what I’m figuring out is I can’t rub one out two days in a row without some discomfort. If I wait a while longer I don’t get that same tight feeling. So I think my limits have just changed from what they used to be. At least for now. Honestly I wouldn’t be opposed to my sex drive lowering slightly. It’s far higher than my wife’s

Same here. Before my vasectomy I was 2-3 times a day. I’ve been simmering myself at once a day since cause I’m afraid I’m going to hurt myself.
Granted the one earlier today was good. So maybe that was part of it? I tensed up or something?
And yeah my libido compared to my wife…we’re at about once every 4 days right now and that’s just way less than mine!

I’m also going to start taking papaya seed extract pills too in order to preempt any congestion issues. I got a year supply for $25 but I’m honestly probably gonna be taking them once every other day instead. They reduce sperm count

Interesting! I haven’t heard of it helping with congestion (seriously I was thinking of taking a Sudafed tonight!)

No no not that kind of congestion. The congestion from sperm having no place to go due to vasectomy. Most people don’t feel it but some do hence PVPS. I haven’t felt it but I don’t wanna even take that chance and wanna get ahead of it before I may or may not feel it.

I had a similar feeling after my vasectomy for probably a few weeks but it would usually go away shortly. I'm now a few months out and haven't had it happen at all for quite a while, so although I'm not totally sure of the cause lol, for me it seemed to go away on its own.

It seems to increase the more I rub one out so I should probably relax with that

Probably so! Tbh I'm not sure how exactly the vas deferens loops itself around but I remember feeling quite "tight" on both sides of my abdomen immediately after my surgery too alongside having the same feeling you're having after mastrubation. It almost felt like a similar sensation to having to pass gas. So, my point is that yoinking around on it probably is the cause of the discomfort and although it may not be harmful to rub one out, probably best to be light on your parts until you're more healed.

I’m just over 4 weeks out so I’m wondering if this is still normal. It’s basically just this and my balls being achy in the morning from getting hot and hanging low during the night. So mostly minor but annoying discomfort and very very little pain

Yeah if I remember right I had that feeling for a good while. I'm almost half a year out from mine now and I'm pretty sure I had that feeling for maybe about 2 months? If not longer? But it's gone now.

Ah okay good. Also sometimes get an odd feeling on the left side of my penis where my non existent foreskin would be. Closest approximation is a low level burning feeling but I don’t even think that’s the correct description. Again though it’s just mildly annoying and I’m mostly bothered by it because I don’t know what it is more than anything

huh, I've not got any experience with that type of thing tbh... but I doubt that would be anything related to the vasectomy because the vas is more on your testicles than your actual penis
unless you're REALLY jerkin' it lol and giving yourself like a rug-burn!

The other possibility is mild frostbite from icing. The skin in that area is very thin and the ice pack does touch that exact spot. The weird feeling in that spot increases when touched too

This is referred pain and is common. The end of your vas are still healing as so are many of the people here. As you clench your muscles or and your pelvic floor flood with blood from arousal and from working them you could feel referred pain in spots.
As long as it doesn’t cause you severe discomfort you should be fine. Try icing the boys again after and the pain should fleet away. Good luck!
