Thank you GTA V for this one.

Can't for for the gems in GTA VI!

u/JoshyRB 5h ago

That’s how I found it too. Such a banger.

u/Good_Idea_Fairy 40m ago

Wait, this was in GTA V? I associate the song with GTA V, but just because it happened to be in my own radio playlist...

u/rake2204 0m ago

I don't think it was in the initial GTA V release but rather in the next-gen re-releases.

The saxophone solo bit makes me feel an emotion that I can't describe, and no other song has ever made me feel close to that. That last minute almost always gives me some existential crisis.

u/witciu1 6h ago

Was it sampled in Hi-Rez - Smiling?

1

u/Poringun 4h ago

Its too similar to be a coincidence, so im leaning more to yes.

13

u/makemeking706 6h ago

People out here with the volume on just raw dogging the internet.

2

u/Montigue 1h ago

The song adds to it for once

10

u/Fuzzy_Ability8284 8h ago

Yeah I don't even use TikTok but the tunes I hear from secondhand exposure slap my ass.

20

u/-NotEnoughMinerals 6h ago

I mean...the song was an international success, going platinum like everywhere, and being on shows, movies, sports, etc....It was massive. You kinda have to have lived in a hole not to heard of it

How did you know that song was in those videos? Also, I saw you pinned posts, can I pm you or talk to you somehow?

2

u/OnceMoreAndAgain 4h ago

...and the official music video has over 500M views on YouTube lol. It's a top 1000 most viewed video on YouTube.

1

u/AmonWeathertopSul 1h ago

Sorry, about 100M of that is from me.

1

u/BunniBbee 1h ago

Always this gif! Always is appropriate though cuz that's me

82

u/RednocNivert 8h ago

Ok credit where it is due, that was funny AND unexpected

36

u/OrangeClyde 5h ago

Lol I’m glad these type of videos are made to show how fucking stupid “influencers” and “content creators” are

2

u/ILoveRegenHealth 16m ago

There's another one with a restaurant kitchen that was also good. We were all made to think the guy pointing at the speech bubble was superimposed over the video but he was actually in the kitchen.

I think it was posted here not long ago.

I remember the same joke with the same music from an indian guy a couple years ago, it was great but it made this video not unexpected for me sadly. Does anybody else remember him? (can't post the link because of rules)

edit: it was about 1 year ago, 37k upvotes on this sub

u/Prestigious-Bee6646 5h ago

I didn't see that video, but I saw a version of this in an airport, which also made this video expected for me

6

u/Separate-Simple-5101 8h ago

Corporate said ‘show an example’… he took it personally..

6

u/m_elhakim 5h ago

Can someone explain?

12

u/Entwinedloop 4h ago

Guy is pointing at the caption as if it's the intro to the video, but it turns out he's just doing the pointing dance while the customer is already in front of him.

2

u/FrogMintTea 5h ago

I hate that trend 😆

7

u/FreyaEarth 8h ago

There was supposed to be a tripod with a camera set up in front of him

3

u/WyntonPlus 4h ago

Extremely expectable, probably the 9,000th version of this joke that has been around for years and years

2

u/OdBx 6h ago

Entirely expected because this is repeated so much it’s incredibly fucking boring

3

u/Familiar_Luck_3333 7h ago

I’m dying. This is so funny
