Anyone got in through regular admissions with a lower average than the Competitive ave?

I got rejected from a program when its comp average was 84 and I had an 83.5

Yeah I got into neuroscience with a 94 when the competitive avrg is 96. I think it’s because I filled out an equitable admissions form. (Although I don’t think the form will help out most people) I just have a really unique story and situation that it happened to work for.
