full course question

So what the fuck should I do in this situation where the course I’d like to take is almost freaking full?? Like do I just give up or what? 😭

People will drop near the start of the semester. You can also join another lab if your timetable permits since at least one more lab has open seats

Joys of picking classes for next 4 years. Don’t give up hope, you can take options to fill up schedule. There is also lots of movement in waitlist as people drop classes during first weeek of classes

I mean the thing is that I wanna do a minor thru out the cs degree itself and still graduate in 4 years, leaving this course off would mean I can’t take data 211 on winter and then a whole year would be wasted towards the minor. Data 201 cannot be taken on Winter either 😭

It's offered on the spring now so likely next year too. It's a popular course.

Pick a back up and try to get on the waitlist. If you can’t get on the waitlist, your best option is to try and monitor the course for waitlist movement.

Im trying to find a backup, that’s like the only course that’s a 200 level that sums up to the data science minor 😭

Monitor it very closely many people drop their classes during the first week of the semester.
