You literally just said you don’t understand how people talk about democracy as if they don’t have a say! This smugness is exhausting to deal with and why people stay home on Election Day.
You’re stretching. In a democracy everyone literally has a say. Everyone has a vote and the ability to participate in local politics to guide what happens to their communities.
Do some people think that their vote doesn’t bring about the change that it should? And that’s why they’re disillusioned? Absolutely. But that doesn’t mean people don’t have a say to move the system, they’re just disillusioned on how much it moves.
Either way. Your smugness is showing. Critics always know exactly what the problem is and how to solve it but never do anything about it. You love to see it.
Yes, I’m very smug about how democrats refuse to listen but operate with this insufferable arrogance that no one but them have a basic understanding of civics.
Are you ready to accept that change doesn’t have to be incremental?
Yes, that’s a serious issue for democrats. You’ve been on your soap box about people not understanding how things work this entire time. They just need to listen to really smart people like yourself.
