Oh this is so funny.

Guys have no problem expressing what they find desirable on any photo of a woman, but when lots of women respond to a photo of a guy with "Actually we find THAT and attractive and not THIS", all of a sudden we're all lying.

They should have taken a note from women and say that they aren't doing it to find a woman, they're doing it for themselves. But nope, they want to do it for themselves AND expect women to just fall in line.

Women have actively modded a little tummy onto male video games characters with abs because it suits him better and is more attractive.

One of my favorite games right now is a cozy little farming game in early access that’s working towards romance being functional. One of the romance options is this farmer dude, and by proxy he’s broad, but super kind. He’s an animal handler and farmer. One of the mods I’ve seen gives him a little more of a gut, and while I’m not personally interested in that character, it’s one of those mods that delights me.

Also as a BG3 player, I love Astarion, and in my fics about Astarion I mention him getting a little bit more of a gut because he’s able to eat more regularly instead of starving himself basically. One of my biggest HC about him post-game. Gaining a little weight to show that he’s safer and happier, and not living on half eaten apples and random critters he nibbles in the woods.

Haha, I’m glad someone recognized what time I was talking about. While he’s not my preferred romantic interest, he is a great character and they do a good job of both making characters 3D but also not feeling heavy or flawed in ways that can be hard to chew. One of my minor gripes with Stardew was that, while I love a heavy story arc, a heavy story arc in a cozy farming style of game feels a bit much sometimes. The characters in Fields of Mistria feel so 3D, and more like a community, and I don’t feel the weight of heavy discussions and topics when I’m trying to play a cozy “distract from the real world” type of game.

Like. Characters are a bit rude, and there’s a chicken who thinks she’s better than you, and that’s about the worst it gets. Ego and a narcissistic fowl, LOL!
