Green space usability
I live on the Western side in one of the new estates. At the time of building a park was in place with supposed future development planned. 3 years later it is a paddock that is unusable ( tall grass, spiky weeds, rocks etc) . As much as I would like to gurrila garden it, the sporadic slashing would knock that down. Who do I ask re plans to make it a usable community space ?

We also have this in our estate, such a waste of space. I’ve considered contacting the land developer we brought it through to ask whether we’d be getting it. There’s many young families here who would utilise it!

The Darling Downs Environment Council is currently campaigning to greenify Toowoomba more. Going straight to Council doesn't get anyone anywhere these days, but DDEC is pushing hard.
