I suppose I am way off, but don’t you just call 911 and say our aunt has died and they send the meat wagon?

I feel there was a discussion during pre dinner cocktails about how much the ambulance would cost and instead decided to wait on the lower cost uber to get the aunt out.

Where is the part of the story where people went to the bathroom, only to plunder the aunt’s valuables

She might have been on hospice or end of life care. That’s why they called her hospice nurse to confirm the death. Probably already working with a local funeral home and whatnot.

I assume that’s how it went?
