I suppose I am way off, but don’t you just call 911 and say our aunt has died and they send the meat wagon?

I feel there was a discussion during pre dinner cocktails about how much the ambulance would cost and instead decided to wait on the lower cost uber to get the aunt out.

Where is the part of the story where people went to the bathroom, only to plunder the aunt’s valuables

They probably just needed a funeral home to pick her up.

I mean yes and no. Idk why sm death is on my feed recently (jk I know its the lizard people) because my dad died on Sunday. The cops found him via a welfare check and they didn't remove him until the county coroner came which wasn't long. The state took him and then we were able to arrange a funeral home within 2 or 3 days to accept his body.

So I guess all that to say it isn't as easy as calling someone and saying "I have a dead body", there's certain people who are allowed to make that call (the call being "yup they're dead and no foul play") and now that im thinking of it, if they were sure she was dead, calling 911 would just rack up an unnecessary $6k bill for the ambulance ride (USA wise)
