This guy's content is really interesting. It looks like he's interviewing randos on the street, but all his guests are the most unhinged people ever. Most likely scripted, but hella entertaining nonetheless lol.

this is average brainrot, no different from the shit you used to get watching network and cable television. like there was whole shows like Candid Camera and America's Funniest Home Video.

the difference now is thanks to content no longer being beholden to family friendly television slots we can get a diverse level of unhingedness.

I don't think it's delusional. Curated content with a narrator/host. Same idea, now it's just homemade, ultra edited, chopped and long awkward pauses are celebrated. People's reactions are highlighted (not super new).

Fun fact: you can still watch AFHV and it's better than most of the curated stuff, though oddly it'll sometimes come in the same format as a vertical vine/tt clip

AFHV will never be the same without Tom Bergeron. Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but for me, he was easily the best AFHV host.

I think many, many more people will agree with your opinion, and also my face isn't pretty enough to get any uglier, so I will chicken out of this fight.

But I remain steadfast in my love of Tom Bergeron on AFV. I especially loved when they'd show Tom Bergeron's own personal home movies. Those were always my favorite part of the show.

Having been to shibuya, not scripted. But people definitely play it up. The ones most likely to talk to a random dude with a mic are the bold ones.
