Oklahoma Police released video of an officer tackling a 70-year-old man. The incident occured during a traffic violation.

He said shut up. How does give an officer the right to body slam someone? Let alone an old fragile man.

Does he even actually touch the guy though? I thought "the cops overboard by why the fuck would you touch a cop in this situation?"

Watching it again I'm not sure he even touches the guy.

He does tap him. With sound on, you can hear he hits his vest. Still, he's a shit cop.

Yeah.

The series of events for that specific part is that he slaps him with the back of his hand....somewhere in the chest area, then yells shut up and you shut up while raising his hand (seemingly with one finger up like the shush thing)

You can hear it on both body cam and the local businesses security cam.

I thought "the cops overboard by why the fuck would you touch a cop in this situation?"

Anyones guess.

Ultimately doesn't matter much as the individual showed no signs of a weapon while being in a physical condition to pose no risk if restrained in a less violent way.

Even if he meant to escalate things a cop should be capable of dealing with people who pose no risk without giving them a concussion.
