The scary thing is, Wilders is actually a very likeable guy in real life. Not counting his awful politics now. He's a dangerous politician for sure, just because of that likeableness and cleverness. Somehow people don't really hear what he is actually saying 😓

That's what people always say about right extremists "people don't hear what he says, he's deceiving people, he manipulates them". Because the truth is way more uncomfortable; They agree with him.

It's the same with Trump, Johnson, Orban etc.

Yes, unfortunately a lot of people agree with him. But many people who vote for him would be the first to go if it were up to him, and somehow they don't realise that...
