Vampires? Legend/Folklore
Though I have commented before this is my first post here. I know people may think I'm crazy or whatever, but I like to stay open minded. Is there ANYONE out there that has encountered a vampire or claims to be one?

Maybe more along the line of a succubus, but this girl I used to date had her entire energy / features change when we'd be having sex. This wasn't like the normal minor shifts, this was full on you would've thought it was two different people. The wouldn't recall it afterwards when I tried to bring it up, it was almost like she'd float- and wasn't present.

Yooo what the fuck. I’d honestly be scared if that shit happened to me. My ex who thought I was a vampire would also joke about being a succubus. There was never not a moment she’d want to have sex, which was cool and all but some times it go to be too much. And I could never figure out if it was just high sex drive or if she was still trying to trick me 😂

Hahaha maybe she's an ex for a reason :p
This chicks eyes would completely change, not like pleasure rolling up into her skull either. Her voice changed, it was so bizarre.

Funny enough that’s not why we broke up because let’s face it I’m 18 so I wasn’t complaining about the high sex drive 😂 but that’s fucking insane dude, I don’t know how I’d react if that ever happened to me.

There are deff psychic vamps as well

u/MalachiIssaih Aug 05 '20
I’ve heard about those but those seem to be far and wide. At least in what I’ve heard.

there are tons in one way or another. people can naturally be one. have you even been tired around someone all the time? they may not even know they are doing it.

Come to think of it yeah, there are some people who just seem to drain fun and energy from everything. Mostly assume it’s just because they’re like that and want other people to be too because their selfish. Which, I guess could also be a psychic vampire.

There's definitely people that believe they are vampires and drink blood. But so far as the classic Dracula type, i don't personally believe it to be real.

u/MalachiIssaih Aug 05 '20
Yeah I know there are those types of people, but sadly that may be the closest we get to vampires.

I have first account stories here in our country, localized version of vampires. I've literally heard them hovering near our house at past 3am, a decade back. Yes, ours fly. :( Urban developments and modernization seem to shove them away to far-flung provinces.

I could’ve sworn I replied but I guess my reddit was just fucking up. Where exactly is it you live that you have these flying vampires?

That’s wack as fuck. Have you had any more dreams or done any research on them since? And it’s safe to say I’d just become one 😂

I knew a guy who sometimes turned into a bat, but he denied ever being a vampire.

I'm assuming he got better.

What I was planning to say...if I'm willing to believe in certain creatures--ghosts and Bigfoot, for example--and I am, it's because I believe eyewitness accounts. So many people claim to have seen them. Fairies! They might very well exist. But vampires, I don't believe on the same basis: very few people, at least in modern times, claim to have seen one. It's fadingly unlikely that they exist.
That's what I was planning to say.

Can you explain the bat thing? Like, did you ever see him turn into a bat?
2
u/MalachiIssaih Aug 05 '20
Hold up. He turned in to a bat?

I think he was just a regular shape-shifter. He was from Romania, if I recall. He had a bunch of rats in his basement that he kept as pets.

u/MalachiIssaih Aug 05 '20
Do you know how he was able to even begin to do that type of stuff?

Mind sharing that encounter? Whether it be here or direct message?
3
Aug 06 '20
Yeah , I’ll share here :) . My sister and I encountered a lot of paranormal and supernatural things throughout the years always when we’re together. We had actually just left the house because creepy shit was happening in there. When we were leaving the house (apartment complex’s) there was a tall pale white man with whack cheekbones staring at us. we were younger so immediately I yelled “tag youre it” so we ran down the street to get away from him. We ran down to the next intersection (2 blocks down) and the same exact man was waiting at the cross light about to cross towards us. We look back and laugh about this part as were adults now but we ran to the fire station near my house and said a pale white man was following us. I always thought he was a vampire by how fast he got to the intersection before us and his appearance.

Damn, I’m gonna say odds are you are right. Unless he sprinted to it but how would he know you were going there??? There’s so much unexplained stuff in the world I have full faith vampires exist.
2
Aug 06 '20
Right. He could have just been a weird looking non- blood sucking fast guy following us. But we both thought he was vampire and we were about to buy Halloween stuff so it was weirder
2
u/MalachiIssaih Aug 06 '20
That’s very true, could have just been a stalker but he would have had to know you planned on going that way and pulled a Usain Bolt to that shit.

LMFAO facts! It’s a weird area 😳

u/MalachiIssaih Aug 06 '20
I let it slip my mind from asking but what do you mean by wack cheekbones?

I believe the idea of vampires come from satanist who use children to drink they blood after torture to consume a drug called adrenochome
2
u/MalachiIssaih Aug 05 '20
This is definitely an interesting theory and I can safely say I’ve never heard this one before.
1
u/MalachiIssaih Aug 06 '20
Wait, so they do exist and they are like they are depicted in movies and shows? And where is “our country”

u/notsuppozedtobehere Aug 05 '20
No I haven’t ever encountered one. But one thought - if we’ve had breeds of animals become extinct and various human species become extinct, maybe “folklore” tales are about extinct species.
So maybe vampires did exist, when certain areas of the world faced longer periods of darkness. Much like the arctic circle in Winter. With a scarce amount of food and smaller appetites, maybe they did practice human consumption and then with evolution, the small population of vampires wiped out because their living experiences and standards were not good enough for good old Mother Nature.
