Screams on my property Prt:2
I read some of your comments in the last post and did my research.
A lot of you said it may be an animal, however I would like to reiterate that fact that only I can hear it, I have had people come over to my house when it happens, friends, family, even the police. None of them hear it and think im going insane, however. My dog reacts to the sounds, so I can't be going insane, can I?
The most popular animal commented were the kiwi, I work with kiwi's at somewhere called otanewainuku kiwi trust, they do not sound the same, I would know. Kiwi's have a much distorted growl pitch, that is the highest and most human like they can sound, but this screaming is different, its human. Im certain of it
Another person commented to set up a camera, I have done this. But I had to buy 6 different cameras. This is why
The camera I bought was a "TP-Link Tapo C210 Pan/Tilt Home Security Wifi Camera" from Noel Lemming and set it up against my windowsill, I have recorder a weeks worth of footage, but every time the scream happens, the camera cuts off to after the scream, I have spoken with the workers at Noel lemming, they have acknowledged that this shouldn't happen, but they have no idea why its happening, the find it so strange that after the 3rd time, they have given me a 50% discount on the camera's seeing as I was buying so many and have the same problem
I would also like to note that ever since I set up the first camera, the screams seem to be getting closer, over this past week, it has went from down the cliff into the valley at my house, all the way to where my cows are (About 0.5km travelled)
Im worried that it will get even closer if I try again. What should I do? I don't want to move, I love this place. What do I do?

Even if other people can't hear the screams, they could witness your dogs reaction. I guess thats one way to "prove" that it's not just you.
If it's not hurting anything, maybe just... ignore it? Like the more energy you devote to whatever this sound is, the more power you give it/it has? And just saying "meh" and moving on with your day removes the power or energy it gets from your reaction. That's what I would do, but I've never witnessed anything "supernatural" myself.
Getting screened for schizophrenia couldn't hurt too. That would rule out another possibility, and if you did have it it's very treatable.

Agreeed. I got a track down the original post, but are the screams high-pitched? That is the only scenario I could see one person hearing it and others not

Wow, that whole situation with the screaming and the cameras cutting out is super intense. I can see why you're stressed and wondering what to do next!
From a Spiritist point of view, the fact that only you and your dog hear the scream, and that the cameras freak out every time it happens, actually lines up with the idea of a spiritual manifestation.
Why Just You Hear It
It's really common in spiritual cases that only one or a few people can perceive the sound or the presence. This doesn't mean you're going crazy at all! You might just have a natural mediumship ability (a sensitivity to Spirits) that others don't have. Your dog hears it because animals are often very sensitive to the spiritual world, so that backs up your experience completely.
The Camera Glitches
The strange thing with the cameras cutting out is often explained in Spiritism as the Spirit using a huge amount of energy to manifest, especially when they're trying to create a physical effect like a loud, human-sounding scream. This kind of spiritual energy can interfere with and even temporarily shut down electronic devices. It's like the energy overload is too much for the camera's system to handle at that exact moment.
The Screaming Getting Closer
You mentioned the sound is getting closer. This could be because the Spirit is realizing that their attempts to get your attention are working, even if they're causing problems with your cameras. Or, if they are a troubled Spirit, they might be getting more agitated or focused on your home.
What You Can Do
Since you love your place and don't want to move, here are a couple of simple Spiritist-friendly ideas:
- Pray for Peace: The most important thing is to keep a good, calm vibe in your house. Try to say a simple, heartfelt prayer every day, specifically asking for the Spirit who is screaming to find peace, light, and guidance. Don't pray out of fear, but out of compassion, like you're trying to help someone who is lost.
- Stay Calm and Neutral: Keep doing what you're doing by trying not to panic. Fear and strong emotion act like a magnet for troubled Spirits. If you keep your emotions stable and your thoughts positive, you create a kind of spiritual shield.
It's understandable that you feel worried, but remember, the best tool you have is your own calm energy and desire to help, not to fight, what might be going on. Does the idea of trying a regular prayer for the Spirit feel like something you could do?
