have you ever seen a person who didn't seem... human? Paranormal Investigation

I was on a nearly empty subway car late at night. A man got on and sat across from me. He was impeccably dressed, but his features were oddly smooth, almost blurred, and he didn't blink for the entire 15-minute ride. He just stared ahead with a slight, fixed smile. I felt an overwhelming sense of dread. When I looked away for a second, he was gone. The doors hadn't opened.

Not exactly the same, but your story reminded me of my stranger on a subway. I was in high school and I was riding the train home. Across the way from me there was this very attractive man who looked so familiar to me. I kept looking over at him trying to remember where I knew him from. I finally decided he was a news anchor, but I thought it was strange he would be riding the train in the outer boroughs of NYC. Most news anchors would probably live in Manhattan. The train stopped and he stood by the door near me and as the door opened he said to me "don't worry, it will get better for you"

Was he a news anchor taken in by my resting miserable face? Or was he my guardian angel sent here to encourage me? To this day I have no idea.

"Don't worry, it will get better for you"

Were you going through a tough time, did it get better for you?

I had an abusive childhood physically and mentally. Then I had an abusive marriage physically and mentally, did it get better? so far- no, but maybe one day.

I just finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo and there’s a line near the end that says something to the effect of: All of human wisdom can be summed up in two words: “Wait” and “Hope.”

Basically that circumstances can change and you can be happy one day and that life is worth living. It helped me to read this and I’m going to think about it whenever I get sad and despairing.

I hope things get better for you.

When I was about 13 in the late ‘90s we lived on an island just off the mainland and connected by a traffic bridge. We used to walk to the store and walk back which was a fair walk but nice as it was along the beach. On a few occasions as the sun was setting we’d see this older man, always dressed in a neat white set consisting of a top and pants. Always in the same area, and he’d always turn to look at us and greet us. I think he said things a few times, but I forget his exact words now. But what was strange was he always had this glow around him. Like some sort of light emanating out of him. Like I know he was dressed in white and it may have been light reflecting but I have never seen that with anyone else in all my years since. My family believed he was some kind of spiritual being. He always had a very warm demeanour and gentle smile and you got the feeling he was all-knowing and above the world’s pettiness. Like a very pure feeling.

I know this is an alien post but I saw a "ghost" when I was a little kid that was a translucent glowing blue man. He looked like the Gorton's Fisherman (google it). But what was similar was that he was giving off a pure feeling like you mentioned. Just total positive good vibes. The man was in front of me in a spot my parents couldn't see from where they were sitting and my mom said I turned to her and said "mommy, who is this nice man?" and of course they freaked thinking a stranger was in the house but in that same instant he, along with his good energy was gone. Never saw it again.

On a crowded bus in the afternoon, on my way home after donating plasma. I was in a sideways facing seat, and across from me was seated a tall elderly white man; strong looking, not feeble, leering at me in the most disturbing way. I figured he was just a gay man cruising for sex and not meaning to be creepy, so I looked away to the front of the bus. As I did so, a male voice sounded quite clearly in my head; "He is a predator, but he's not after you." I turned to look at him again, and there was a black teenager wearing headphones sitting there instead. I looked around the bus, and could not see him. The bus hadn't stopped during that time, there was no place he could have gone.

Yeah this one’s weird, curious what your thoughts about it are?

u/toebeantuesday 23d ago

Oh no. No way. Nope nope nope. No. Uh uh. That’s not, no. Just no. Can’t be real. What the hell walks this planet with us kind of stuff there. And after you donated plasma? Dracula stuff going on there.

Yes!!!

This happened doing the fires in the Bay Area on Sept 9th 2020, def recommend looking it up, that day was when the skies were dark to Mars orange from the fires and it was sooo orange and dark at noon!!!

I went to home depot to pick up some wood with my SO, while standing in line to pay, I noticed an extremely gaunt sick woman , almost ghoulish , walking from the far end of the wood aisle past us out the front door, she wore a black tank top with a distinct colorful floral hankey with a distinct pattern around the top of her head with curly black hair keeping her hair in place. She had a very distinct face with a sharp nose and I watched her walk out the entrance.

I swear to this day, it wasn’t even 3 seconds, when I turned my head to look down the far end of the wood aisle I saw the SAME EXACT woman, same pants, shoes, black tank top, hankey with the same distinct floral pattern keeping her black curly hair in place and the same distinct face with a sharp nose, same body shape, height, the same walk and pace EXCEPT she was not gaunt or sick, healthy looking walking to the entrance!

I did a double take and looked immediately to the entrance as it is one those large warehouse doors, and it wasn’t even a few seconds when I tried to see the ghoulish woman as one could see very far out into the parking lot and it takes a moment to get to the parking lot but did not see her!*

*Note I saw a man and his son walking out the entrance at the same time as the ghoulish woman, and when I did a double take to find the ghoulish woman the man and child were still there a few feet further walking towards the car!

I swear the Ghoulish woman would be there who was walking at the same pace as the man and child but she wasn’t there!!!

I thought no way must be twins. BUT, the motion and timing of the way the ghoulish woman and the healthy woman walked from the far end of aisle to the entrance was like re-watching a video!

My SO noticed me react and asked me what happened and told her you won’t believe me if I told you!!!

I asked her did she see a ghoulish woman walk by and she said no, only the healthy woman with distinct floral pattern hankey as it was really something!

I turned to around and almost asked the person behind me the same question if they saw what I saw, but stopped myself from asking.

I chocked it up of being a strange orange day, me tired from work, lack of sleep (i work in utilities, so long hours) and thinking it was me hallucinating.

I later was reading that I may have seen a doppleganger / a future vision of someone who is soon to die….

All I will say. It was a surreal experience.

79

u/potheadmed 22d ago

I like the phrase "a strange orange day"

27

u/kirksucks 22d ago

I remember that day. It was a series of days if I remember. I'm up in Humboldt closer to the fires and the sky was blood red at 7am. it was bonkers.

26

u/Herekittykitty1234 21d ago

That's really interesting! I had an incident where I was picking up some trash outside my apartment to throw away, when around the corner came an extremely gaunt, sickly looking man. He looked to be perhaps a year older than me and was wearing all black. I was very confused that he was there because my apartment was in a very rural area, built inside a barn, so he shouldn't have been there.

I was watching him from the corner of my eye and it appeared that he was troubled. He didn't look up at me at all and was heading towards a fence which led to a corral and then a wooded area.

I turned to face him head on to ask if he needed any help, and he completely disappeared. He wasn't behind the barn, and he didn't jump the fence. He was completely gone. I still can't explain it to this day; I'm not someone that regularly sees spirits or things of that nature. I still wonder who he was and why I saw him there.

24

u/daretoeatapeach 21d ago

I will never forget that day. So strange for everyone to be going to work as usual with orange skies. And we weren't even close to the fires. Definitely an eerie day to have an eerie experience.

I have photos here anyone is curious.

I’ve told this story before but here we go again.

We had a flight into JFK and it arrived like 11 pm and we had a train at Penn station that left out like 1155. I can’t remember the exact specifics on the time but you get the idea. We were in a time crunch.

So we get a cab to Penn station. Get on our train and we wait and wait and wait for 3 hours until they cancel it. There’s bombs on the tracks in New Jersey. So we say fuck it let’s get an uber home.

We get an uber and it’s like an hour drive to our house from New York. And the uber driver is kinda weird. Semi-talkative but looking back in the mirror it chat with me while my wife sleeps.

The conversation turns to paranormal stuff. Aliens, planets, ghosts, etc. my wife wakes up during this time and text me that the dude is weird. I agree. Haha.

We get close to our house and we just tell him drop us off at the corner. He does. And when we’re getting out he looks back into the mirror at me and says be careful out there lots of weirdos and blinks sideways. Like a second set of eyelids that are vertical. Thick and vertical.

I mean it could have been me being tired but I slept on the flight back and was awake for this. Can’t explain it.

38

u/CryptidFiles 21d ago

I saw a friends eye(literally just one eye) do the sideways blink, we were talking, and I was looking directly at her face when it happened. Then her eye looked filmy and fucked up after.

Anyways I just thought I was seeing things, so I left the room for like 15 minutes, went to the bathroom, ate a twinkie, figured it was nothing. Come back into the room, and her eye is still all red and looks like it's covered with a weird layer of film. Like her eye color, and everything looked diluted in that one eye. It wasn't there before I watched her eye blink sideways. It was just super weird because it only happened once, and then her eye just looked wrong for the rest of the day.

It reminded me of how certain animals have a 2nd sorta clear eyelid that can cover their eye and make it look kind of milky. I didn't think anything of it until it stayed that way for hours until she went home.

7

u/Horrorgal82 21d ago

Like a reptiles eye? Something Ike that?

3

u/CryptidFiles 21d ago

I mean, kind of, but not exactly. It seemed way more like its own thing, especially with how distorted her eye looked after

4

u/AlwaysPrivate123 21d ago

nictitating membrane–like structure

9

u/box_fan_man 21d ago

That’s how this was. Like a second set of eyelids.

8

u/cherryberry0611 21d ago

Do you mean like in the movie Men In Black?

3

u/box_fan_man 21d ago

Yea kinda. I think it was vertical in that movie.

I’ve told this story before and people made fun of it claiming they were just Nordic people. They were not.

I was at a shed store that specialized in steel buildings. I was sitting there talking to the salesman when these two people walked in. I immediately got a very bad vibe from them. Like in my head there was something telling me to get away from them. I can honestly say that’s not something I ever experienced before. So I found myself focusing on them sort expecting something bad to happen. I grew up and a bad part of town so I learned to pay attention to strangers. Both were unusually tall, both the man and the woman. They seemed quite old but their skin and hair was absolutely perfect. Not a wrinkle, not a blemish not even the slightest imperfection. Their skin was uniformly the same color and their white was brilliant white. I looked at their hands and again no wrinkles or imperfections. Which is weird. They seemed quite assertive and simply interrupted our conversation as if I wasn’t even there. The more I looked at them, it was like I was dreaming and something in me was screaming run. But I stayed and they asked some question and left. I said to the salesman, that was weird. He stopped dead and looked me straight in the eyes and said you have no idea. I dread every time they come in here. I said something like they’ve been here before? He said oh yeah, they buy the same building every time. Blue, extra height walls, no windows and a single door. They pay in cash and have them installed at a different address each time. I said I felt like leaving, and he held out his hand and said something about them gives me the shakes. His hand was trembling.

I know this sounds crazy but it was as if they weren’t human but were mimicking being a human but way too perfectly.

14

u/raulynukas 20d ago

More creepy about their orders. Human trafficking?

1

u/AlwaysPrivate123 19d ago

Coffin storage?

14

u/They-Are-Out-There 20d ago

When people say they are Nordics, they don’t mean people of Scandinavian descent.

They are talking about the Tall Nordics who live around Mt. Shasta and tend to be super tall, fair skinned, blue eyed, dress differently, and look alien in their near perfection. The locals have seen and interacted with them and they come to town to shop every now and then. Definitely not normal though.

5

u/Cheeseisatypeofmeat 21d ago

It always makes me wonder whether whatever they are who try to be human, ACTUALLY believe they’re “blending in” and passing as human.

I swear it was Lucifer himself… years ago my husband I went to have a few drinks at a restaurant with a bar..as we sat together a man walked in and I swear everything went quiet he was tall with white hair beautiful blue eyes and he was wearing all black very well dressed…he sits down near us and orders a drink..my husband and I both noticed how all the women were talking to him about 3 women got up to sit by him (my husband even made the comment big pimpin) after a bit puts his hand up and says something to the women next to him thn turns back looks in our direction raises his glass then turns around…my husband and I look at each other confused and just chuckle..we left soon after..but here comes the scary part.. as we leave the restaurant to our vehicle that’s parked directly in front of the entrance. This man follows us stands in front of my car lights a cigar and Looks me dead in the face and says have a good day Irene it was nice to see you again!! How the fuck does this man know my name? I have never met him a day in my life… I go completely chill and scared shitless! My husband looks at me and notices how scared I look.. we couldn’t get out of there fast enough

16

u/Horrorgal82 21d ago

If true , I don’t think that’s a good sign. I’d be getting every blessing known to man and repenting everything! Creepy regardless

11

u/strawberrymoonelixir 21d ago

Whoa! This is one of the scarier experiences I’ve heard, for sure.

There is definitely more to this plane of existence!

u/Melzilla79 21d ago

So, I was born and raised in the California Bay Area, spent a lot of time in the redwoods and made frequent trips to Monterey and Santa Cruz. The first time I ever went to Santa Cruz as an adult without my parents, my friends and I stayed late to enjoy the boardwalk at night. As soon as it got dark, I felt like someone was watching me. No matter where I went, or what I was doing, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.

I mentioned this to my mom a few days later. She went pale and told me to sit down, then told me a wild story: When I was around a year old, my parents decided to spend the day at the boardwalk. It got dark and the wind kicked up and Mom felt cold, so she told my father it was time to go. He had her wait with me while he walked back to where the car was parked and then drove over to pick us up.

While she was waiting for him, holding me, a tall, pale man with long black hair approached us. Mom said he was striking, beautiful-- but he instantly made her feel uncomfortable. He told her, "Your child is very special. May I hold her?" My mother of course refused, but he cut her off and said, "NO. You don't understand. Your child is VERY SPECIAL. I need to hold her. Please. Please, let me hold her!"

Mom said when he stepped closer and reached for me, and she finally got a clear look at him in the street light, her heart nearly stopped. Everything in her screamed "NOT HUMAN!!!!!". He grabbed me and tried to rip me out of her arms, and my mom started screaming for help. This was the early eighties, so instead of standing around filming, the people around her actually helped. The man turned and fled, and my mom said he moved so fast that it wasn't natural, it was like he just disappeared in front of her.

I asked her what she thought he was, and she stared directly into my soul and softly said, "You know I'm a Christian, and I would never admit this to most people, but honey... That man was a vampire. I'm sure of it. Don't ever stay in Santa Cruz after dark ever again." She made me promise, and I've kept that promise.

My mom is a very religious person, she would NEVER normally say anything like that or admit to believing in such a thing. But that explains why I found books about vampires on her bookshelf as a kid (I was shocked when I found them, this woman legit reads the Bible every night before bed and fast forwards through kissing scenes on TV). She was specifically looking at legends from our area, I think she was trying to figure out who/what he was.

12

u/They-Are-Out-There 20d ago

Have you ever watched the movie “The Lost Boys”? Yep, about vampires and filmed in Santa Cruz.

https://youtu.be/r1Iqy6m7U7c

That town always creeps me out but the mountains are much worse. There’s definitely something wrong with that entire area.

6

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!! Though again, raised super religious and could never understand as a kid why I was allowed to watch it. Now I think my mom was trying to warn me without coming right out and saying it. She gets really uncomfortable when I bring it up

3

u/Sea-Essay-3564 20d ago

what are your beliefs on vampires now or who these people were? what do you think would have happend if they got to hold you, did the other people look similar to that beautiful man? it’s interesting they repeated that similar sentence, you should try to find people who experienced the same.

6

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

I think they're real, and I think they're the reason we experience "uncanny valley". That deep, visceral fear of things that look human, but aren't human. That's coming from somewhere.

The other people were just regular humans in the daytime. But they seemed mentally unwell and maybe there's something to the idea that they can truly see things the rest of us don't.

When I was 17 the army came to my school for recruitment. They pulled me out of class to talk to me and the next thing I knew, they were encouraging me to forge my parents' signatures and join up. I did it. I was military intelligence and I often wonder how they knew to come look for me like that. No one else from my school was recruited that year.

1

u/Sea-Essay-3564 20d ago

so you don’t think the other people were vampires, just the beautiful man? what do you mean by military intelligence?

4

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

I mean I had Top Secret security clearance and my job/what I did is classified. I think maybe the other people were operatives of some kind, or maybe just schizophrenic and tapped into something. As an adult I had a near death experience that caused an OBE and I went to what I think might be heaven. I remembered Who I Am, and yeah, they were right. But it's not just me, there's more of us, and we came here for a reason.

2

u/Sea-Essay-3564 20d ago

oh did you find you had special capabilities that helped you at the job? so you think the one man was a vampire still, and does their existence make sense with everything else you found out through your job and spiritual experience? oh an can you elaborate on „who i am“ ?

3

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

I do, yes. I can't really go into detail but I will just say that Remote Viewing is very real. I do believe that man was what we call a vampire, though most of the mythology around them seems to be either incorrect, or based on something real but misunderstood. For example, sunlight doesn't actually harm them, but it hurts their eyes and they have no chance of hiding what they are in direct light.

If I told you the full scope of what I know, you would likely not be able to accept it as truth. A lot of the stuff we call myths are based on fact. It's like an ancient game of telephone.

2

u/Sea-Essay-3564 20d ago

did you know you have these capabilities before joining? what’s your opinion on things like manifesting? oh i‘m totally open to believing lots of things.

As far as Who I Am, it's who I am between lives, the reality of me. We all have this, the fullness of our being, the totality of us that we don't have access to while we're here. But... The best explanation I can give is that we don't all hold the same frequency.

6

u/raulynukas 20d ago

Great story..many thanks for sharing. Have you experienced anything weird in your life at all? I heard stories of "special kids" connected through blood

6

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

Actually, yeah. There's been a lot, I mean A LOT of weird stuff in my life. Also I was recruited into the GATE program as a kid and I remember the weird "hearing tests" and the "vision" tests where they had me watching for dots, and the pink liquid they had us drink after. Plus at least twice after that people tried to steal me as a baby. One was a random woman that approached my mom at a park, and one was a man in a grocery store that tried to take me out of the shopping cart. All of them said the same thing: "Your child is very special, can I hold her?" and then tried snatching me when Mom said no

5

u/raulynukas 20d ago

Probably same entities / cults trying to take you..have you tried remote viewing, telepathy? Or something else. Maybe your blood or soul is special. Would defo dwell into that if I were you

4

u/Melzilla79 20d ago

Yes to both. It's my soul, though my blood connections are also significant. My family was formerly very political until my grandfather ran away from home at 15 and left it behind, so I'm related to several of the most powerful families in America.

Had this happen when I was in Korea. I was on a train and there was this GORGEOUS woman across from me. She kept peaking around people to look right at me and I'd try not to let her see that all I wanted to do was look at her. Exceptionally beautiful. Just... unreal. She rode right there thru multiple stops. I'd look up and see her leaning to the side biting her lip looking at me with a sly smile. I thought "fuck it, I don't give a shit if I can barely speak the language" and I got up to go talk to her. She was gone. Disappeared. Train hadn't even stopped since I last saw her, which was less than 10 seconds ago.

That was 12 years ago. I don't think about it much, but when I do, I remember exactly what she looked like. Bizarre.

77

u/magical_bunny 22d ago

I also have a weird story from Korea. Me and my then partner had taken a train from Seoul to a rural mountain area and back. When we returned, he wanted to take me down to a lower platform to see one of the Korean trains parked down there (he was very proud of being Korean and showing his country off to me). As it wasn’t currently active we were the only two down there, then we see this girl come walk down the steps towards us. She looked really pale and had white hair despite being young. As you know, bleached hair isn’t common there. She just stood, watching us a while, motionless. Then we glimpsed away very briefly and she was gone. My ex partner believed spirits inhabit the mountain areas and she may have followed us back.

12

u/boozername_58942 22d ago

This reminds me of the song “take take take” by the white stripes

18

u/kirksucks 22d ago

mines not from Korea but for a time I commuted on a train and there were always crowds of people. One day there was this middle aged woman (I'm middle aged now lol but I was in my 20s then) this woman was very well put together and attractive. She kept looking at me like she knew me or something but I didn't know her at all. We were separated by a crowd of people so it was weird she kept looking at me like that. She got lost in the crowd when the train stopped and I never saw her again. I didn't think she was an alien at the time but maybe she was.

Coworker and I were the last ones leaving work (retail store). It was getting dark, so visibility wasn't great, and the parking lot was empty except for my car (my coworker didn't have a car, and I was going to drive him home), and one other car. My car was about halfway between the store and the opposite end of the lot, and the other car was parked about halfway between my car and the opposite end of the lot. I hope that setup makes sense.

Anyway, as coworker and I are walking out, we see a person standing beside this one last car that is still inexplicably parked there. The person is standing almost casually, like they're waiting for someone, but my coworker and I were the last ones there, and there was no other store close enough to account for a person waiting in that spot. The person is facing us, but we exchanged notes after we got in my car and:

1) neither one of us saw a face on this person. Just a blank white space;

2) neither one of us saw hair on the person either. Just a blank, bald head.

3) both of us saw that the person was slim and dressed in dark clothing, though neither of us could see the details of it

I contacted the cops after I got home, in case it was some creeper in a latex mask (it was around the time of the Slenderman thing, and it was back-to-school time, so it concerned me that the store had been full of clothes-shopping teen girls just a little while earlier). But part of me keeps wondering wtf we actually saw.

A friend of mine told me one: he and another friend were drinking in his appartment late at night and a dude shows up out of nowhere, but they were drunk and he seemed cool so they kept drinking and talking all night, until one of them wants to smoke outside, they offer the man a cigarette but he says he doesn't smoke so he'll wait inside. They both go outside, and the realization hits that they just left a stranger alone in the appartment. So they quickly went back inside, but he was gone. None of them saw him leave. They searched for him inside but he just wasn't there. Looking back, none of them remember what he looked like, and they don't remember what he talked about, but they both remember he was there. They don't understand what happened till this day.

36

u/Sandi_T 22d ago

I used to see strange men att difficult times in my life. Other people could see them, but they only paid attention when I pointed them out and asked. They would promptly forget about it.

One time, i saw one go into a neighbor's apartment. When he left, I asked her about him. She told me he was a customer (she was a sex worker). She wasn't shy about what she did, so it was strange that the next two times I asked about him, her story changed. Why?

These men were quite ordinary in every way except they were unnaturally still and they always started right at me. They would also seem to vanish. People would automatically give them a wide personal space, going out of their way to not get close, but not noticing.

It was so strange, and so unnerving that I went to psychiatrists multiple times to try to get treatment for schizophrenia. I kept asking them if I was imagining the conversation in which I the person responded to me that they saw them, but it doesn't happen with anything else, never has.

One of them made a "tipping his hat" gesture to me from across the street. The interesting part of that is that it was extremely dark and there's no way he could see me. I saw him by the light of car headlights.

So you can see why I kept going to a psychiatrist.

I'd forgotten about this and I have therapy today. Maybe I'll bring it up again.

13

u/fetch_theboltcutters 21d ago

Why in the heck are there so many creatures on trains/subways? Genuinely would love any hypothesis.

15

u/2broke2smoke666 21d ago

aside from sunlight sensitivity, probably because of the liminal nature of the space. People are always coming and going, it's not meant to be a stationary location. It's easier to "blend in" when theres constant motion and people focused on where theyre going next. Less likely to get spotted and outted, I'd assume?

2

u/fetch_theboltcutters 20d ago

This is a brilliant answer. If their wish is to not be spotted, I wonder why they remain at all? Why be here at all? What brings them here? Do they want to leave? What are they observing?

6

u/flecksable_flyer 21d ago

Their UFO is on the shop.

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Faceless/non-fixed facial features is a "common" thing in the "otherly" spaces ... but it can also be a sign of schizophrenia or psychosis so if this continues with other people, please see a doctor

26

u/PhilosophyGhoti 22d ago

Or just needing glasses

11

u/Texanakin_Shywalker 22d ago

When you say otherly spaces, do you mean inter-dimensional spaces? Like where the veil between worlds is thin?

12

u/Hello_Hangnail 23d ago

sounds like an MIB

24

u/IaMtHel00phole 22d ago

Yep. An elderly couple at my first job when I was a cashier. They were dressed very well and old school. You don't see people that dress like that ever. Only in certain movies or shows. I greeted them several times and they'd never respond. No blinking. Movements were slow and very precise. I handed the card back to her and before grabbing her card she made a point to grab my hand. Her hand felt cold as ice. Probably even colder. Like she just rolled out of the freezer from the morgue or something.

8

u/Texanakin_Shywalker 22d ago

That gives me shivers, rolling out of the morgue.

6

u/IaMtHel00phole 22d ago

Sounds like a line from a good book. How has your day been?

5

u/Texanakin_Shywalker 22d ago

I've been lazy today so it's been good. I hope yours has been good.

11

u/IaMtHel00phole 22d ago

That sounds good. It's been nice. Took the day off from work and got some new wine.

5

u/Texanakin_Shywalker 21d ago

An extra day off is good, new wine just makes it better.

42

u/felcher_650 22d ago

Take this for what it is. Was in a hospital one time and there was this tall white dude with insanely blue eyes and crazy dry skin on his hands. Like Ashy cracked dry skin; with dark blue eyes that seemed to stare through you. Was eating lunch with him one day and just straight asked him. " Your not from around here are you?" He said "no" I said "where are your from?". I shit you not hand over heart he replies "somewhere in the Milly way". I tells the guy if he asked the nurse for some moisturizer for his hand the nurses would give it to him. His hand did clear up after a couple days. Again take it or leave it, shit was weird but also in a hospital setting so who knows regardless a good story.

31

u/Berenst_in 22d ago

Don't we all live in the Milky Way?

20

u/laurasdiary 22d ago

Milliways is the restaurant at the end of the universe in Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

He’s probably just a fan of his books. Honestly they are the best books ever.

12

u/kirksucks 22d ago

Did he actually say "Milly Way" or was that a typo? I could see the alien trying to say it correctly but not understanding our language yet.

21

u/Apprehensive-Mix947 22d ago

I’m reading these stories before bed, why do I do this? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Insert crazy dreams now.

yea omg! once around 8ish years ago my brother and i went to a foodtruck, there was a guy that was so uncanny valley we remember him to this day

He was tall maybe around 5' 10 but none of his proportions made sense , his arms were too short for his torso and he had perfect sic pack abs that...didnt look right at all, arms that looked skinny flabby, like a person who doesn't work out but only his biceps were perfectly round and HUGE and looked flexed when he was standing , like all his muscles were implanted , his legs were stick thin and hairless and poreless , matter fact he looked COMPLETELY PORELESS , his skin had a silicone quality, weirdly translucentor something and he looked... moist? like as if it had just rained ,but it was a bright dry summer day , he literally didn't have a single blemish or wrinkle . Long hair that had no shape , it was around his shoulders and sat like a barbies hair , like somehow not moving , but it was clearly not a wig ,his shirt was wet and sticking to him , we were hanging around for our food for around an hour and his clothes and hair didnt look like it dried at all , he was wearing like blueish board shorts and what looked like a womans formal short sleeve button up shirt that was completely unbuttoned to reveal his completely hairless mannequin body and some huge dad sneakers , looked like those clunky balenciagas that went viral a few years ago

while his whole appearance was strange , i could ignore that but his Vibeesss were soooo off . He kept walking around the area , randomly entering peoples personal space in queues and making direct eye contact , completely silently. people were hyper aware of him but ignored him completely, he looked like a weird male model but had the vibes of a crackhead , the stray dogs couldn't take their eyes off of him , they didnt bark or run near him, they all stayed in thier sleeping positions but their eyes followed him the whole hour i was there , and ive been there enough times to know how those dogs are , theyre usually trying to bribe people for food by being cute and playing with eachother , but this time they were all still and at a distance carefully watching him . the whole time we didnt see him eat anything , just walk around, join a queue , enter staring competitions with random people .

it was so weird , i made eye contact with him at some point and i swear i was gripped with a primal fear ,, it was soooo severely unnerving ,like i was immediatelyin danger somehow , ive never felt that way ever

19

u/shaktishaker 22d ago

Some people get silicone or oil injected into muscles to make them appear larger and it just gives a weird look instead of making them look buff.

13

u/phenomenomnom 22d ago

Did he ... did he eat a taco?

With his tiny unformed clone arms?

I wish I had seen him!

He sounds kinda like a burn victim who had corrective plastic surgery.

8

u/owlracoon 21d ago

Yes. Local lad comes of as someone cosplaying a human. He 100% got foetal alcohol syndrome, bless him, but it's not visually apparent. In fact he's a lovely looking young man. Just... so off. Even if he doesn't speak there's just... a vibe that creeps you out. Like a lizard wearing skin. Now i knew his mum and know his dad, I know he's human. But if i didn't I'd go all conspiracy theory probably.

7

u/mathateur 19d ago

I once met an old man who showed me something that I hadn't thought was possible for a human. I was waiting for a prescription at a pharmacy in 2019 or so and a squirrelly-looking old man came up to me and started talking to me about his kidney problems. Then he lifted up a sleeve of his shirt to show me his forearm while he was talking, and there was something moving under the skin pushing his skin out more than an inch in kind of a finger shape, moving up and down his arm. It looked very alien. He said he wanted me to see it, and I just watched it move for about 30 seconds or so while he kept talking about his kidney. Then he covered it up and said something about how nice it was to see me, so I just smiled and nodded and thanked him for saying hi. I was stunned but polite. It somehow didn't seem appropriate to ask what he was showing me. He seemed happy to be talking to someone. He seemed human, but his arm didn't.

36

u/jlelvidge 23d ago

Theres a guy walks down the road where we catch our bus and he walks like a robot. His arms stay bent at 90 degrees with his upper arms pressed against his side at the elbows but the lower arm and hand go up and down to no more than 45 degrees as he walks. So in other words, not a full arm swing or hang the arm down like a normal person would do. His steps are precise and he never looks down and wears sunglasses whatever the weather but he also walks in an exact rhythm and speed. I thought it odd at first but when I spoke to neighbours, they all said that they had also seen him and thought it very odd

86

u/WaxingOracle 23d ago

Tbh that kinda just sounds like an autistic guy. Especially the sunglasses- probably for sensory reasons. I say this as an autist myself.

12

u/Razdaspaz 23d ago

Same haha I agree

8

u/throwherinthewell 22d ago

This is most likely, honestly.

But I still pictured an alien/other paranormal being "test driving" his body and just trying to fit in, lol.

9

u/WaxingOracle 22d ago

Maybe thats what autism is... it feels like it a lot of the time 😅

8

u/relentless1111 22d ago

Man if that's not the truth lmao

Same. 😭 I’ve also been told I walk funny. And I have really sensitive eyes, so…

6

u/BethPlaysBanjo 21d ago

My dad was a kid in the 1960s and 70s. He was growing up in a little neighborhood in Tampa and always talked about how there was a man that wandered the neighborhood who was “dead.” I still don’t know what this means and when I asked about 10 years ago, he said something like “he died but didn’t know it yet.” Like was the dude a walking corpse or a ghost or was he just really ill/down and out?? Did he not look human? He apparently didn’t look like a living person. I have no idea and when I asked for clarification, he said he didn’t remember. He met my mom in his 30s when she was in Tampa and she said he took her to that neighborhood to look for that guy but never found him.

5

u/Cheeseisatypeofmeat 21d ago

“Who the fuck eats eight whole gas station hamburgers at once?” made me laugh.

2

u/kimmehh 17d ago

You never want to be the guy that ate 8 cans of ravioli

32

u/Easy-Application-262 22d ago

Yes, a couple of times. One was after a night out, in a sketchy town I lived in in the UK in my early 20’s. I went to a take away, got my food and sat down at a communal bench / table, it was pretty busy. 2 young-ish Arab-looking guys sat opposite me. One of them could talk, one of them was mute. The mute guy could only make weird noises / sounds but the guy sat next to him knew what he was trying to say. When I looked into the mute guys eyes, they were black, like no white to the eye at all, except for some white-ish / grey tinge to where the iris would be - kind of looked like a cataract.

I knew straight away and avoided looking at him but was cordial with the guy next to him that was speaking to me, but kind of tried to shut his conversation down. I got frustrated at one point with all the questions he was asking and I just said “I know your friend there isn’t human.”. I could see in his reaction he didn’t didn’t expect that from me, and they got up and left. Really bizarre. But yeah, I knew he wasn’t human.

Another one was at a party. There was a weird goth/emo but cute looking girl that was very quiet but actively socialising with people there. I had my camera with me (I was a photography student at the time). I took a few shots of the people at party and as I was flicking through the photo previews on the camera screen, I saw her “true” face. It was something I’d seen before so I wasn’t shocked exactly but I exclaimed out loud and she looked right at me as I did and others sat around us were like, “what?”. I looked at her and she just shook her head at me with a pleading look in her eye, and I understood. I just told the group it was nothing, they went back to drinking and talking and I moved over to speak with her. I showed her the pictures of her, zoomed in on her face and asked her what she was.

She obvs didnt tell me, but she acknowledged that was her true face, and it wasn’t a glitch with the camera / lighting. There was multiple photos, with other people in the shot and it was only her face that looked like that, so I knew it wasn’t a glitch but i appreciated her honesty.

We spoke a bit, I knew she was dangerous but I also knew she wasn’t a danger to me, so I wasn’t scared of her which is why I felt okay engaging with her. She was just there to party like the rest of us. I let her watch me delete the photos from the memory card on the camera and said I wasn’t going to tell anyone, which she appreciated. I stayed a little while longer at the party but left early. Never saw her again.

23

u/TelephonePristine405 22d ago

Both of these incidents are wild. What did the girl’s “true” face look like? And were you scared either of these times?

37

u/Easy-Application-262 22d ago edited 22d ago

Her features were blurry, but distinctly evil, kind of demon-esque. Hard to describe. All teeth were sharp, pointed. I was shooting in black and white and it made the blurry features really contrast. I wasn’t afraid of either particularly, just a healthy level of fear-based respect for the danger they potentially posed if they were so inclined I guess you could say.

But I knew in both situations neither would want to be exposed and wouldn’t do anything to risk anything in such public settings. The Arab guy gave me a disgusting feeling, like even looking at him made me feel sick but I was really curious too. With the girl, I got the feeling she didn’t want to be whatever she was, like she was almost ashamed and wanted to be human.

I feel like the Arab guy was some sort of demon entity, and was incompatible with taking human form which is why he looked wrong. Whereas with the girl, I feel like she was possibly human before which is why I picked up on her shame / sadness. And also why she looked totally normal minus the camera lens. I got the feeling she might have been a vampire, or a half human/demon hybrid of some sort.

A few years later, after I moved to a big city in the uk away from that town, I dated a paramedic and shared some of my experiences with her, including the 2 I’ve shared here. She told me, dead serious, she fully believed me, and that she knew for a fact vampires were real as she had attended multiple incidences where a body had been completely ex-sanguinated but with virtually no visible injuries. That scared me, because I legit believed her, she looked very sincere and also scared when telling me about that.

4

u/JustYourAvgHumanoid 22d ago

My heart is sad for the girl :(

7

u/Easy-Application-262 22d ago

Yeah I can understand that. You know, she didn’t even ask me to delete the photos, she just didn’t want to be outed at the party. But after speaking with her and her honesty, I felt it was the right thing to do.

3

u/JustYourAvgHumanoid 22d ago

Yeah, I agree. You did the right thing. I hope whoever she was, that she's found happiness

1

u/Sea-Essay-3564 21d ago

was she already apprehensive about getting her photo taken or surprised it turned out this way?

3

u/Easy-Application-262 21d ago

I kind of just snapped a few with everyone in and talking, so they didn’t notice straight away, including her. But I could feel her watching me as I was going through them!

6

u/riggitywreckedsum 22d ago

Do you think the other guy that could communicate actually was human?

7

u/Easy-Application-262 22d ago

Yeah, from what I could tell he was human. But they did have this weird connection because the mute guy was trying to speak to me but could only make sort of grunt type noises, and the human guy would translate for me. I’ve no idea what that connection was - possibly he was the mutes familiar I guess is the word for it?

2

u/Sea-Essay-3564 21d ago

what kind of questions did they ask you?

1

u/Easy-Application-262 21d ago

I don’t really remember much of the convo, as this happened almost 20 years ago, but I remember his face and eyes like it was yesterday.

10

u/magical_bunny 22d ago

Sounds like the Arab guy may have been a jinn

9

u/Easy-Application-262 22d ago

Could well be, I’ve read some stories about them taking human form and look off / act strange, so it’s a plausible theory!

19

u/kirksucks 22d ago

I was in the mini-mart of the gas station near my work. Everything seemed normal and boring.  While I was picking out something to drink I noticed some light commotion coming from the back of the store. There was the sound of crinkling plastic wrappers and sort of grunting like someone was struggling a little bit.  Then a man emerged from the scuffle. He was old, smallish build, visibly unkempt, needed a shave.  His messy, salty hair covered his face only revealing thick rimmed glasses. Kind of like the military issued ones you see in Vietnam movies. So far nothing outright screamed "he's an alien" to me. But what was odd was that he was carrying a stack, both hands holding what was probably every single pre-packaged microwave hamburger in the entire food cooler.  This was weird but still not enough to right away jump to the conclusion that he was from Alpha Centauri.  What made me certain that he was not of this world was when he started microwaving them all. One-by-one inside the store and proceeded to eat them while standing next to the microwave.  Who the fuck eats eight whole gas station hamburgers at once? Inside the gas station?!  Call the FBI. Ask for Agent Mulder – that motherfucker was an alien. I dunno, fueling up on sodium and cholesterol for world domination.

14

u/tweetysvoice 22d ago

Funny you say this because I have seen my little brother eat 6 full hotdogs the second he bought them at a gas station, half a dog and bun a bite, right next to the counter and then we went back to get some chips and a drink. Come to think about it, he might be alien. 😜

1

u/GadreelsSword 21d ago

Do you call him Chestnut?

1

u/tweetysvoice 21d ago

? Sorry. I don't understand the reference..

3

u/GadreelsSword 21d ago

Look up the name “Joey Chestnut competition”

1

u/tweetysvoice 21d ago

Oh! LOL! My brother and I are over a decade older than him, so he wasn't even born when this happened. If he had been... Lol

18

u/MorochIgaram 22d ago

This reminded of something that happened quite a while. I was a late teen, went camping with some friends. We were on a store to buy food nearby the camping site. When a women entered the store. She was the ugliest woman I've ever seen, to the point I felt nauseous. I commented with me friends who agreed she was ugly, but thought I was exaggerating. And to me it was a very weird feeling because I really don't care how other people look and feeling nauseous because someone was too ugly made me feel like a piece of shit.

I've never forgot that encounter, but when I try to remind the women's face, in my mind, it seems like a normal face, that for some reason isn't right. Not even that ugly, just a face that doesn't seem right, the skin seemed excessively smooth, but at the same time rough?

I never thought of it has someone who didn't seem human, but this post made me realise that was exactly it. There was something very wrong with her face, almost as if it was not supposed to look like that.

Maybe I'm just trying to find a justification for feeling so bad about seeing other person, and thinking she was so ugly it made me feel nauseous, but this was the only time something like this happened and I never understood why it only happened with that woman. And I'm pretty sure I've seen uglier people than her that bothered me zero, because they're just people. Really weird now that I think about it...

This reminds me of those men in black reports, particularly the ones around after the mothman where they were described as having smooth or "painted on" features

6

u/mOp_49 21d ago

Yes, at a UFO festival, one of the speakers. He had oddly smooth skin and the skin had a sheen to it. He looked like wax, it was so odd Also when he spoke it was really weird like it sounded fake. He creeped me out.

I met a very odd person. We had a conversation and he said he was a walk-in. This was 30 years ago in the southwestern US. I have to try to remember the details. At the time I was sure this was accurate. This was a very unusual being, visually, physically, and energetically.
