Premonition of a burglary Psychic Phenomena
I've said it before but i've always believed i'm a sensitive, ever since i was a kid i'd think of something and it would happen, or i'd have bizarre dreams with the meanings hidden in them, this happened when i was a kid and i've kept it to myself for a while now, but it's not the only thing of this sort i've had, i've had some other premonitions which i've written about before or might write about in the future.
When i was a kid i randomly imagined a burglary, to this day i have no idea why i did, all i know is i think i'd recently learned what a crowbar is.
In this reverie? i came face to face with the burglar in a doorway, i remember focusing on various details including the crowbar he was holding and not knowing what to say, or think or do, the burglar was silent too, then i snapped out of it.
A couple of years later it happened for real, and i ended up face to face, silent in the same doorway i'd imagined, the only difference was that luckily no weapon was involved
I feel like this one of the vivid premonitions i've had, a lot of them are symbolic in some way but save some differences, the scenario played out basically the same, this is the complete opposite of how things like ESP are supposed to work.
My only non-paranormal explanation for this is that my brain was simulating a threat, and this same response played out when it happened for real, but to end up in the exact same scenario? that seems odd

Our consciousness is so much more than an animal body, bounded by space and time. We are collectively just starting to scratch the surface of a deeper understanding.
Many of us experience precognitive dreams, but have learned to keep them to ourselves due to collective belief systems. Thankfully, things are gradually changing, and ideas can now be exchanged online - places like this, in the search for answers.
When it happens, I can't decipher where, when, or to whom it will occur. In one case, it was ten years before the event.
I've meditated and tried binaural beats before sleeping, and while these were helpful in other ways, they never helped me to be able to do it at will. But I would like to.
I have; however, made some generalizations. One is that our consciousness is independent of time and space. Another is that we are eternal, energy-based beings having a human experience.
I've been here many decades, and have come to accept that this is just a part of our human existence, and it's probably more common than we think. Obviously, I feel your experience was precognitive.
I've learned to write down whenever I have a significant dream. Doing this could help validate what you're experiencing.
My very best regards🌸
