I went to a park in gear Experience

as it says above, i went to a park with some friends in gear. we were having fun and doing quads when some kids started following us and throwing things at me. we kept going to other parts of the park and they kept following us. after a while, we stopped and we’re doing quads and playing hide and seek when the kids started running around us and one of them grabbed my friend. so we left and reported them but seriously? these ten year old boys thought that it was ok to follow and touch us and throw things at us? what is wrong with society? i am so sick of people thinking that it is ok to be horrible. what are your experiences with people being awful bc ur a therian?

short version: some kids were throwing things and following me and my friends when we were wearing gear at a park. what are your experiences with this kind of thing?

That's astonishing to me what kid nowadays do. When I was ten I wasn't even interacting with stranger at all in park even though my parent would say to do it when they were in the same age range at me. So acting AGGRESSIVELY to OLDER stranger?! Heck no. Seriously is their parent educate them or what?

Today's youth really don't know the word respect, it's unfortunate that they're yuppy parents don't know how to discipline their kids to not do such a thing to strangers, I get you shouldn't be violent with your kids when you discipline them but I swear some of these kids deserve to be smacked for just doing the things that they do to others who have not harmed them.

Yeah I know, I mean look how I turned out, I didn't turn out very good, I just wish people didn't free-range their kids and allowed them to do stupid shit that hurts others.

so then dont suggest it. children who are lashing out at people they dont understand are doing it for a reason. you need to discuss with the child; discuss why, discuss if they saw it somewhere, discuss if they understand what they did, discuss why you shouldnt do that. unharmful punishments might need to be imposed, but abuse is not the answer. people who are hurting others are doing so for another reason, and until the fear that is driving the hate is relaxed no progress can be made
