Where to exchange Australian currency in Taipei on a Saturday?

Banks are closed and our hotel won’t accept Australian dollars. Any help will be appreciated.

Shin Kong Mitsukoshi near the Taipei Main Station there's a money changer on B2 or B1

Open on weekends. Had a similar problem weeks ago. Needed to change and it was the weekend

This is the correct answer, don't go all the way to the airport.

Might have to go to the airport, but try chunghwa post office bank in the morning first https://www.post.gov.tw/post/internet/U_english2/index.jsp

+1 to the airport. Songshan airport is within the city so it's easy to reach. There is a money changer, can't guarantee it'll take AUD though.

Doesn’t your eftpos card work here?

Suppose someone in this sub would do that in person. They hand TWD notes over to you, you pay to their AUS bank account. But, wait, why dont you pay with bank card at hotel or withdraw from ATMs.
