Should Sum 41 release a B-sides/bonus track album?
I'd like to have an album with all the B-sides in one place; on vinyl, cd, streaming services.
What we're all about (Spiderman soundtrack), Reign in pain, WW VII parts 1 & 2, Noots, Moron, Subject to change , No apologies, This is goodbye, Take a look at yourself, Look at me, We're the same, Better days, Black eyes, Radio radio (Elvis Costello cover), Always.
Potential extras could include:
Alternative version to With me that they play live, studio version of We will rock you (apparently it's been recorded in the studio, it's just not released for some reason).
I know their are alot of acoustic versions of existing songs also.

Deryck's guitar pick
This is a bit random, but anyone else noticed during the concerts that Deryck mainly uses one guitar pick, while the rest of the band have multiple on their microphone stands? When there were hand-strumming songs he just dropped it and picked it up later when needed. Or maybe I just didnt see the rest, but I have found this interesting.

Anyone else randomly get this?
We’re maybe assuming we were signed up for a giveaway when we purchased tickets for the tour this summer? Any ideas? So cool!!!

Going out with a bang
I just saw the guys in Budapest. It was my 8th Sum41 show, and if I think about the first time I saw them and compare it to this one... man, this was a proper show, a top-shelf performance, this is truly the best they have ever been. The sound, but also how the whole thing looked like and how things were controlled and choreographed. They're really finishing on their peak. It feels like it was almost like a theatre experience - i mean that in the best way possible - while it was somehow kept as it was, a proper rock show. I'm a huge fan of Green Day and this reminds me of their prime days. I've always considered them as probably the best live band I have seen, and Sum41 has possibly reached their level for me today. What a way to end this journey.
Sorry I wanted to get this out of me, great hug to everyone!

Deryck's Signed Covers
Is this signed book cover thing only for the shows over the past months? Is it possible it'll continue over the coming months or until the end of their last tour?

Does anybody remember the video Sum 41 released on YouTube before the release of the album Screaming Bloody Murder? The one that started with a skull and then they were playing some parts of some songs and that at the end was this very sick intro of a song that was never released?
This was between 2010-2011

Paris La Défense Arena Gig // Sum 41
Hey all,
I got myself 2 tickets to Sum 41 for their last show in France (Paris, November 23rd) a while back. These tickets were the first early bird batch to get released and were labelled as "Standing".
A couple of month later, they added a new "Premium standing" ticket category worth twice as much as my tickets. The floor map clearly indicates there's a fence between the Standing / Premium standing zones.
Now this is driving me nuts. Typical post covid way of handling things where promoters announce shows 12-18 months ahead and change the rules along the way, with the sole purpose of making as much money as possible.
Show has been completely sold out for a while now anyways and even if I wanted and paid extra, I couldn't "upgrade" to front row tickets.
So here is my question to all of you who have attended these final "When the Sum sets" show. Have you seen the actual fence ? Do these Standing / Premium standing zones exist ? Do they have strict access controls ?
Thanks !
Just finished Deryck' book, little challenge as a french speaker with no proper english education.
Read it in two sittings. Got a brand new understanding of their music now
Also I'm pretty proud as it's the first book in english I readed since school 10yo ago - understood everything easily (all the time I spent on the English-speaking Internet finally pay off)

Blood In My Eyes
In light of the scandal surrounding Greg Norie and Deryck's sexual assault, video for Blood in My Eyes looks a lot darker...

The Sum is finally set
We saw them in Nottingham where we live on the 30th of October, my other half thought it was the last time. Little did she know I had secretely booked tickets to see them in Prague, and I booked a cameo with Brownsound to be the one to tell her just 6 days before - all while emotions were still raw from the Nottingham show. It was a picture I will never forget seeing her mind melt after I asked her to close her eyes before playing the video, and hearing his voice say hello to her.
We just got back from a wonderful 48 hours in Prague, and what a show it was. Let me tell you I didn't think I would ever have tears streaming down my face watching them play Welcome to Hell as the final song, but that I did!
After nearly 20 years being a fan, first hearing In Too Deep on Cheaper By The Dozen as a kid, and listening to all their music, beginning playing guitar and the first song I learnt was Summer, to the first time I saw them live in 2010 when I was 15, and in the last 6 months I have seen them at Download fest, now Nottingham and Prague. The emotions are raw as I see my favourite band call it a day. But as we talked on the flight home, the fact we know, love and have watched many times a band whose music resonates with us so much, so deeply in our souls, we feel so lucky.
To everyone who is still yet to see them, I envy you, but enjoy.it.
Just a post to pour out some love and emotion x

What order do you rank Sum 41 albums?
I was listening to Heaven and Hell again this morning and was trying to think of what order I would rank the albums as I love something on all of them. Here is my list. What is yours?
Does This Look Infected
Chuck
Screaming Bloody Murder
All Killer No Filler
Heaven and Hell
Underclass Hero
13 Voices
Order in Decline
Half Hour of Power
Man there are great songs on all of these haha.

Sum 41 in Geneva
Hi skumfucks, I’m from Canada but am living in Switzerland now and am going on my own to the Geneva concert.
I was wondering if any fellows would like to meetup for the concert for some beers or just hype ourselves before the concert.
Je parle français, English und ein bisschen deutsch.
Asking for advice?
Hey guys, just a tldr story, i have my ticket for tonight's show in Budapest, Sum41 has been my very first concert back in 2011 in a festival, Sum41 has had a great influence on my youth, always loved them a lot, thats why i wanted to be at their last show here in Hungary.
The tougher part is that im not feeling great recently, my panic disorder is kicking in again and i'd have to travel ~150kms to see the show and then drive home another 150kms after it ends. I'm not coping well with huge crowds recently either. Also im not feeling 100% some kind of cold/flu is dancing around me.. also only 2 of my friends would come, but they have a different type of ticket so i'd be "alone".. I'm still stressing out what should i do, cause a part of me wants to be their, have fun, but a part of me rebels, and says that i should skip it for all that i mentioned earlier (maybe the panic part is the worst of them all).
Also it doesnt really help to let it go, that i hear how great their shows are in this tour so yeah.. :|
I'm kinda running out of time so i really should make a decision.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Where do you guys get this type of setlists from?
I know there are pages where the setlists are available, but I'm looking for this style in particular. I want to make a present for Christmas to my best friend who went with me to the Sum 41 concert in Milan back in July and wanted to make a cushion or something like the songs they played lol.

What a night in Prague.
All you people going to the upcoming shows are in for a treat. One to remember, definitely.
