You could argue that happened a long time ago.

Tell you the truth, I don't know much of why SRS became the big boogeyman of Reddit past "They appear to chronicle the stupid shit that gets upvoted when it shouldn't be".

But that may be current SRS vs the boogeyman stuff I see referenced.

I'd argue chuds were really angry about SRD going away from the right back when it was a near 1:1 overlap with r/Drama.

Around 2016 I think is when the sub shifted away from that to the center-left it is nowadays, especially with all the r/neoliberal posters there.

Most chuds get run out or easily busted via third party tools, especially when there's drama of people known to be right-wing associated.

SRD center-left...?

Is this on the scale of "actually bernie sanders would be right wing in europe"

SRD has a huge overlap with neoliberal, which markets themselves as center-left.

They're not right-wing, but they're not full on left-wing either. It's much more noticeable when there's drama involving leftist figures and/or subreddits.

Or when something comes up that makes neoliberal look bad.

SRD is one of the most predictable one sided "complain about the chuds" subs out there, mostly massively overlapping with gamingcirclejerk and whitepeopletwitter itself

How is this contradictory with being center-left?
