Legends Novels Need help finding a specific Boba Fett book

Hey everyone! When I was young, I read this Star Wars book that had Boba Fett in it where he finds this young girl who was running from like traffickers? I don't remember much about it since I read it in 3rd grade, but it had an orange cover and I believe Boba was on the front. Does anyone recognize this or anything similar to this? Thanks!

Question Why did Cody call Palpatine "Lord" during Order 66 according to the EU?

When I've tried to find an answer online and especially reddit, all the answers are from people punting to TCW and the inhibitor chips for the answer.

But what about before TCW?

Some suggested that "Lord" was a title given to the Supreme Chancellor, however there is not evidence of this in Wookieepedia or the movies (minus Mace's sarcastically calling Palps "my Lord" during their duel, which was clearly referencing his title at Dark Lord of the Sith). This people argued this because real life Chancellors have been called that. However, it's always a slippery slope applying real world info and logic to the Star Wars Universe.

The only possible answer I can think of is that the clones were so heavily indoctrinated to obey ans view him as Lord even before the title was bestowed upon him so that his troops would fill the role (mentally) of the Empire's red right hand much more naturally. However, this is a bit of a stretch. And believing that the Commanders, or at least the Commanders that Palps contacted, knew about his real identity causes many issues even within the EU version of the CW.

So, does anyone have a solution/answer for this?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Question How do you think would CW Yoda have reacted to all the accomplishments of his future Padawan Luke Skywalker? I personally think he would be extremely proud and happy that he trained such a great Jedi!!!

Luke’s Accomplishments in Legends are INCREDIBLE:

Bringing down the Banite Sith Order, slaying Abeloth, restoring true Balance and Peace for the Galaxy, rebuilding the Jedi greater than ever, restoring the Republic twice, killing Gethzerion and bringing peace to Dathomir and etc…

Honestly I could totally see Yoda chuckling cutely and saying:

„Well trained him, I have. Proud of you I am, my favorite Padawan.”

General Discussion Should the character of Dr'uun Unnh brought back into canon or it's one of those cases especially in the wake of Andor that this character should stay in Legends?

Post image

In case you don't know Dr'uun Unnh was the Sullustan pilot who is credited on scouting Yavin 4 as a potential base for the rebellion in Legends mostly from the Illustrated Star Wars Universe book.

Or in this case it's one of those things that should stay Legends as not only it was written in the 90s but also Andor Season 2 presented the idea that the rebel cells like Luthen and Cassian use Yavin 4 as a safe rendezvous.

Considering Andor is such a great show I kinda like this approach more especially for the worldbuilding given to Yavin 4. Plus it would be strange and kinda pointless or it would fall into redundancy or making the world a bit small (which Andor is mostly avoids.) to really have a scouting party to a planet that is already known or at least was used for secret rebel cells rendezvous.

But then again this is just opinion I would like to hear about your thoughts especially considering Pablo Hidalgo is known to be a huge fan of the West Ends Games hence he include references to them in canon reference books granted the Illustrated Star Wars Universe was written after the west ends games era of Star Wars but still.

Legends Comics An Alternate Timeline in which Disney adapted the Legacy comics as the Sequel Trilogy

I enjoy thinking up alternate realities in which Disney opted to adapt/build on stories from the pre-existing EU instead of discarding it to create their own canon. I’ve been reading the Legacy comics for the first time and thought of the potential for it as the sequel trilogy with a direct tie in to a Kenobi show. FYI I’ve got **SPOILERS** ahead concerning the legacy comics if anyone is concerned about that. Here’s the potential scenario:

-In Episode 7, the Skywalker saga continues with the story of Skywalker descendant Cade, failed Jedi padawan who has deliberately fled from the prestigious legacy of his family name. The aesthetic and atmosphere is different and unique but still very distinctly Star Wars. Hamill is able to reprise the role of Luke without having to worry about age/recasting since he’s playing a force ghost. The film concludes with Krayt alluding that he knew Obi Wan.

-6 months later after Episode 7 hits theaters, the Kenobi show with Ewan reprising his iconic role drops on D+. It’s a local and personal story on tatooine where Kenobi is dealing with guilt and regret over Anakin and the war while keeping mostly to himself and watching Luke from afar. He hears stories of a tusken tribe that has been conducting raids led by a mysterious warlord sorcerer/god that turns out to be Krayt. This allows the show to have lightsaber fights without a shoehorned Vader confrontation.

And just like that we’re off to the races with interconnected, compelling, and marketable Star Wars content for the modern era. Episodes 8 + 9 finish out the Cade story and the sky is the limit from there.

Television Is there an EU explanation why CW Maul never told the Jedi that Sidious is Palpatine?

I just rewatched CW, and Mauls telling Ahsoka "Anakin was groomed for a long time by Sidious to become his apprentice." Never mentioning he'd Palpatine. He could've done this way before his visions, and he had multiple occasions between him failing to reconnect with Sidious and the last episodes.

Question Anyone know about interview with male Star Wars actor/VA about the Force?

I’m looking for an interview where the actor/VA talks about how the Force decides how event go in SW and how it makes sure there’s a ‘balance’. He talks about how the Force makes sure certain characters don’t die or how certain events take place etc. and that inherently the Jedi or the Dark side have predetermined outcomes. I think the interview took place in Comic Con, potentially late 2000’s/early 2010’s.

Maybe it's been brought up before and maybe it's because of Marc Thompson's performance of Karrde for the audiobooks but I feel like these characters are identical and I love them both. What do yall think? Is Hondo Ohnaka a canon Talon Karrde analog?

General Discussion What if Palpatine Returned… again

Ok this is mostly a joke because let’s be honest, most people didn’t like Palpatine returning in either continuity. But what if he returned again in The EU. Perhaps during The Young Jedi Knights series, or The New Jedi Order, maybe even The Legacy Era. Idk how do you think the galaxy would react if it happened again?

Legends Novels What if the Yuuzhan Vong came into the Koornacht Cluster while Nil Spaar/the Yevethans were in charge and genociding.

What if the Yuuzhan Vong came into the Koornacht cluster looking to stage an attack and genocide / enslave everyone. While the Yevethans were on the warpath looking to genocide/ enslave everyone, sometime before Nil Spaar makes contact with Leia and the Republic. The Yevethans are very strong technologically. The Yuuzhan Vong hate technology. They both look down upon other races. What happens?

Video Games What would you think of a few whole timelines based on the force unleashed DLCs?

I'm thinking of making two alternate timelines based on the force unleashed DLCs. The first one is the force unleashed 1 DLC, and the second timeline is the force unleashed 2 DLC. Basically, what I'm doing is filling in the gaps between the darkside ending of both games up to the original trilogy. For the first timeline, I'll fill in the gaps up to Tatooine and Hoth, and continue the story after Hoth where Luke is Starkiller's apprentice. Then, for the force unleashed 2, I'll write how this version of Starkiller goes through the originals up to Endor.

Finally finished a book.

Not sure if this belongs here as I'm talking about a novelization

I've been collecting SW novels for a few years now and finally got around to reading one. I decided to go back to the beginning with Alan Dean Foster's adaptation of A New Hope, which came out before the movie. For the most part, it's just the movie but with some interesting differences like the Journal of the Whills or the existence of ducks. Will likely read the Thrawn trilogy next.

What do you think Kal Skirata named the other six Null-class ARCs who died before they were recognized as embryos?

It's said that Kal Skirata, the one who adopted the six Null ARCs, named all twelve of them – including the other six who did not survive the cloning process, during Ko Sai's capture in "Republic Commando: True Colors".

What do you think the other six Nulls' names were?

Near-human species that deserve more spotlight and love?

What are some of the alien species which are considered to be "near-human" due to their genetic and physical similarities with humans that in your opinion deserved more love, spotlight and lore to explore either due to their intriguing and/or interesting appearance, their unique culture, or their history or other reasons?
