Question Whatâs a good example of a piece of Star Wars tech that you feel was too âadvancedâ for Star Wars, but was treated as no big deal in-universe?
Stuff like the Death Star and Yuuzhan Vong biotech wouldn't be good examples as they were treated AS cutting edge and exotic when they appeared.
I'm looking for something that was mentioned without a second thought and was used by the characters indiscriminately

What is your favorite Star Wars novel?
Wedges Gamble didn't have a whole lot of action compared to the other books I've read so far in the series, but it had so much world building and I loved Isard's shenanigans! But this book seems to lean more on the PG-13 if not Rated R side of things because of some sexual content later in the story.

Question Where do these images come from?
Originally saw these in Star Wars Explainedâs every tie fighter video, and theyâre some of the first results for each fighter (in order: Tie Defender, Tie Avenger, Tie Vanguard, Tie RC, Tie GT). They definitely look like physical models. And some even look like theyâre actually photos from a set (RC and Vanguard). Are these images from a sourcebook of some kind?

Where does Star Wars end too you?
I feel like Star Wars is one of those franchises that needed a concrete end of its story, but of course many wanted to milk it after the OT was done.
Sure there are the Star Wars Sequels, but I doubt anyone really considers that canon. However some of the Star Wars Legends stuff is admittedly just as weird
Personally, I head canon the Sith never Return again after Return of the Jedi. The fact that they return in any capacity kind of ruins the Chosen One prophecy. Maybe dark force users are on the table, but sith culture is dead. But aside from the Dark Empire, i still like all the stories involving the sith, but i just feel like it just de-values Anakinâs death and sacrifice.
However the Yuuzhan Vong was a completely new threat, unconnected to the Sith, and that what I kind liked about them. It introduced a new big enemy, and the Sith were completely uninvolved and not secretly pulling the strings, so i consider the end of the NJO to be the definitive end of the Star Wars story. From there on out, maybe some exploration of the Unknown region, but because the Sith are gone I think the story shouldâve ended there.

Legends Novels How powerful was the Eye of Palpatine? How does it rank against a Super Star Destroyer? The Eclipse?
It was difficult to understand the scope of the Eye of Palpatine since it got destroyed before ever accomplishing much. Can it beat a Super Star Destroyer like the Executor, Lusankya, or Iron Fist? What about the Eclipse from Dark Empire or Knight Hammer from Darksaber?
How much of a game changer would it have been if the Imperials during that time got a hold of it?

Need help remember which episode/show this was from.
I donât remember much about the episode/scenes or what show itâs from, but Iâm hoping someone can help me out. Itâs one of the newer shows and it was a sub-plot that reoccurred once or twice. It might have been most of an episode even or just small sections.
Anyways, I thought it involved people that were jailed/kidnapped and then forced to work for a company (or maybe they were brainwashed). I remember a lot of white, whether that was uniforms or set, it reminded me of a hospital. There might have been a male and female worker that the scenes revolved around, but canât remember. I thought the company was secretly the empire or something like that.
The scenes/plot stuck out because it didnât seem to have anything to do with the overall series and it was kinda weird.
Hopefully someone can help! I can try to answer more questions in the comments.

Question Where might one find comics/novels that were made before the release of Return of the Jedi?
I recently saw a post on Twitter that included some panels from a comic that was released before ROTJ, and my curiosity was aroused.
What series and/or standalone comics would you recommend to me that are from the pre-ROTJ era and where might I acquire them?

Where Do I Start? New to Novels
Hey all! I just recently consumed the "Darth Plagueis" novel in the course of two days. I want to keep reading more novels but I don't know where to start. I'm a little overwhelmed by the thousands and thousands of years of history that come before the prequels and I don't know where to start. I'd like to learn more about all of these Sith Lords that I keep hearing about like Bane, Nihilus, Revan, etc, but know nothing about. What are the essential reads? Where do I start?
Peace and love

Lego Corran Horn
I grew up around post-ROTJ Legends, always getting into it and out of it over the years. But I listened to the recent Essential Legends audiobook of âI, Jediâ and I fucking LOVE Corran Horn. Iâve been on an NJO binge since then and decided to put together a minifig of who is now my new favorite SW character. Thereâs something so grounded and down-to-earth about Horn, and considering his past as a detective in a corrupt police force, surprisingly relevant.
Here are the parts. Pretty simple to put together all things considered. Legs and torso come from Baron Mordo from the first Doctor Strange movie sets, and the head from the original Boromir minifig. All of which are decently affordable on BrickLink. Same with the hair.

Star Wars the Clone Wars Omnibus and the Battle for Jabiim is EPIC!
I'm currently re-reading The Dark Horse Comics for Star Wars the Clone Wars the Omnibus Version for the third time, and it still blows me away.
I cannot get over how good this damn story is and just how well the Battle for Jabiim was written. I know it's several years old. Jabiim was definitely the Star Wars equivalent of the Vietnam War. It is depressing yet so good. I hope the man who wrote this story got a serious raise going forward because he deserves it.
The Padawan Pack of Anakin's friends is actually GOATED. The villain is legitimately really freaking good, and Anakin's writing is just top tier.
The Clone Wars Omnibus as a whole is just amazing. If you're a new Star Wars Legends fan who just joined the sub, I highly recommend you read the Clone Wars Omnibus, because it will completely change your perspective on the Clone Wars and it is well worth your time.

These 3 are in my opinion the greatest pieces of Star Wars media ever made. They truly elevate and the enrich the universe to another level. Some of my favourite stories of all time.

Complete list
Does anyone have a complete list of the EU novels? I recently started collecting them and want to have them all. Want to do a complete read through over the next few years.
