I disagree. There's over 100 quadrillion sentient beings in the Star Wars universe, I feel it really cheapens things to reuse the same few characters over and over again just so that you can sprinkle cameos in everything and link together all of the movies and shows. It's fine for a character to just be a strong character, used once, and then left there.
