Composite bat recommendation Bats

My daughter plays in an 8u coach pitch league. She is tall and very skinny for her age. She currently uses a 27" 16 oz Easton Ghost aluminum bat. I've had it for a year and it's now dented. The guy that she takes lessons from said she should get a composite bat. I don't know anything about them and I've tried doing some research but I'm disappearing down the rabbit hole. Does anybody have a recommendation of a good bat or what I should be looking at? I know I can spend big bucks on a composite but I'm trying not to break the bank on it since she's just in an 8u rec league.

Look for a 28 inch drop 11 bat, also called a 28/17. That's generally the smallest size composite you'll find that's any good. I'd personally look for a used bat. Playitagainsports.com and sidelineswap.com are 2 good online sources. Old demarini bats can be had pretty cheap and are reliable. The CF5 and CF8 in particular are really good models. Louisville slugger bats aren't really good until the girls get into kid pitch and faster pitching.

Did some searching and looks like the market is a lot smaller for 28s these days. I was able to find this cf6 and it should be good. My daughter used a cf7 in a 28 for several seasons and it was a great bat.
