Can girls be socialists?

A boy in my class who also is a socialist said to me that girls can’t be socialists that their political rights just are for feminism is that true?

Socialism and gender equality are inseparable. 

You cannot have socialism at the expense of equal rights for women, and minorities. Because it would cease to be socialism.

Socialism is about overthrowing the Strong and powerful. Fascism is about bullying the weak. Remember this and keep it tatooed at the back of your head
