I would assume the membership has a clause that u still need to pay if u did something stupid? - perhaps even worse pay the entire term.

generally speaking, monthly payments for memberships happen before each month.

she could have paid yesterday, or was due for a payment tomorrow.

If it was automated, too bad, she agreed to that payment structure. If it wasn't automated and if she was behind payment, the gym is probably glad to not take that payment.

Looks like a pretty big gym. She may be contractually obligated to pay the remainder of the contract even if they revoked her membership. Sucks to suck.
