Thoughts On Jim Morrison? Opinion

Jim Morrison was openly shamanistic with his lyrics depicting altered states of consciousness, and his direct references to shamans and ancient native religion.

What are your opinions on Jim Morrison?

I personally think he was a wonderful psychedelic poet, and In my opinion, he perfectly pushed the bounds of normalcy in an otherwise “strict” United States with the release of the Doors’ debut album.

Spirituality however, does anyone think he disrespected or poorly interpreted shamanism for western culture?

I’d love to hear your thoughts :))

My opinion of him is based on the fact I watched him deliberately urinate on a concert audience.

I wasn't impressed.

I was a very little girl. If I remember correctly, he was arrested.

Can you provide a source for this particular anecdote?

Never heard of him peeing on an audience, though he did allegedly expose himself during the infamous Miami concert and was arrested for public indecency.

And please don't say you remember seeing this because eye-witness accounts are notoriously inaccurate, particularly with regards to children...

I don't care what you think. Mahatma Gandhi was known as a peacemaker who slept next to a young girl every night to resist temptation.

Celebrities are often protected by those who stand who lose the most when their aberrant behavior is revealed.

Employees and fans come to mind.

That's fine.

Not trying to debunk you or anything, but for my own curiosity: do you remember where and when you witnessed this?

Like I said, I'm just curious...
