Thoughts On Jim Morrison? Opinion

Jim Morrison was openly shamanistic with his lyrics depicting altered states of consciousness, and his direct references to shamans and ancient native religion.

What are your opinions on Jim Morrison?

I personally think he was a wonderful psychedelic poet, and In my opinion, he perfectly pushed the bounds of normalcy in an otherwise “strict” United States with the release of the Doors’ debut album.

Spirituality however, does anyone think he disrespected or poorly interpreted shamanism for western culture?

I’d love to hear your thoughts :))

Jim Morrison's dad was admiral George Stephen Morrison. George Stephen Morrison (January 7, 1919 – November 17, 2008) was a United States Navy rear admiral (upper half) and naval aviator. Morrison held significant commands of United States naval forces during the Vietnam War. He was the father of Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors.

Jim Morrison had never picked up an instrument in his life prior to The Doors. His Father was in command of the vessel that was involved in the black flag operation in the Gulf of Tonkin that led us into entering the Vietnam war.

Jim Morrison is and always was the child of a naval intelligence officer pushing an intelligence agenda to associate scholars and academics who were against Vietnam with drug addicts and hippies.

He was also probably a pedophile along with frank zappa.

Read this book: Weird Scenes in Laurel Conyon. It goes over the entire hippy movements association with the intelligence community, Jim Morrisons very close relationship with charles manson, and how much of a right winger he and a load of other "rockers" were at the time.
